You definitely have to do this as often as you can. At least once a year my three sons go on a hunt and now my grandsons will be going. The hunt is cool the memories far out weighs any harvest.

Awesome dude. I missed the chance to spend one on one time with my own father, and mother both, in my adult life. And, due to the divide that current politics have caused between my own son and I, over the past twenty years or more, and my declining health, I too will be taking to the road in upcoming months, in order to travel from TN to Washington state, in hopes to re-connect with him, before it's too late for me to do so. Loved your video and story. It brought tears to my eyes and choked me up, because I could deeply relate. God bless you and your father both.

Thank you Sir I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wish you the best of luck with your son. I know it can be hard. When you mentioned political divide, it seems to be a reoccurring pandemic that at the end of the day, just kept you and your son apart. Im glad your taking the time to head up to see him and I think the gesture alone should be enough to show him that you want to emend. What's funny is that my father and I have different views, but that night... it wasn't mentioned at all! It was like we both knew we were there to just enjoy the moment. Thank you for your blessings and I would like to bless you and your son, I'll say prayers for a peaceful and loving reconciliation.
