I don’t think you ruined it at all Omar. Customized for your needs. I love it ! Extra storage in a Commander is always welcome. I’ve taken out my third row and added a platform even with the second row seat height when folded down. Works great for me.
Just curious, how many miles are on your Commander? I'm having so many little issues with mine (2008 Overland Hemi) that I keep thinking I should sell it...BUT, I LOVE THIS THING.
I have 179,000 miles on it. You have to remember it’s a 16-year-old truck and those little things are going to creep up. The way I see it as long as it’s not the same issue every time that can’t seem to get fixed, then it’s OK. Every time something goes wrong with my commander I have to remind myself it’s 15 years old. However, I do understand your frustration ha ha
The speed at which you were able to get this done is amazing. The beginning of the video shows you working so FAST. Like the Flash! I had no idea your company also did upholstery work. I have a couch at my cousins place that he was thinking of getting recovered. What is your companies estimate as to how much that would cost? Do you have a degree in auto engineering? Rebuilding a vehicles interior takes some serious skill. Please let me k ow about the couch. If it works out maybe we could discuss a dining room set.
Lmao bro you don’t know how much that problem is my kryptonite! I mess that up every time! And the next time I tell myself I’m not going to do it and I mess it up AGAIN! Haha. Thank you for the compliment bro:)
I have wanted to do captain chairs in mine, but i still have the third row in mine. I would probably leave mine without a platform for 2 of my kids to be able to walk straight back to the third row.
Oh yea I could have left the 3rd row back there but I knew I would never use it. By taking them out I get about an extra 5 inches of headspace and I can sit up straight. But it would look really good with captain chairs with a little walkway to the 3rd row
Hey that looks fantastic! Do you know the approximate dimensions of your cutout? I want to do a jump-seat delete for rear-access, but I also want to fit a small subwoofer in that space, and I cant eyeball it too well with all of my parts still in. This helped me along with my idea a ton!
@ oh hey thanks a ton! Specifically the dimensions of the cutout that you made, and an approximate of the space from the electrical cover (that would normally be under the jump-seat) up to the cover’s surface would be great! If/when I get the changes made I would love to share them with the channel as well🫡
@SuperxFPS ah ok. So as far as the dimensions that I cut, I don’t have it because I eyeballed it. I literally took the seats out, took the front bar out with the jump seat and cut only what was holding the front and back of the jump seat. The front part of the jumpsuit is pretty easy. If I could do it all over again, I would take my time with the backpiece and make them more even. Right now, my passenger side is about an inch and a half higher than my driver side. I went out and measured this base and I have about 4 inches from the electrical panel to the surface of my small platform. I hope this helps!
@OJCoz I put a little something together and will take it out next Thursday- Friday for the Overland Expo East. Prolly Hipcamp Thursday night and return home Friday evening. 🤞
Very cool! Turned out great.
Thanks bro
Looks Great!
Thanks Felipe!!

Looking good Omar. I like it 👍🏼
Thanks Jay!
It looks great and could be used for a small fridge.
That’s a good idea actually.

Oh man how I have missed these random ass rants!!! Any cousin of yours is a friend of mine bro so I will hook his couch up… for a 6pack;)
@@forrestg254 is your cousin the guy with urinary incontinence? Will need more than a new cover. Just saying...
Dude had an original idea for the mander and executed it well. Just wish you would get the video dimensions fixed Omar😂

@@OJCoz i occasionally need the third row when the whole family goes. We have 4 kids.
For sure that 3rd row is a must for you! Thanks for your post Quaid!

I’m glad it helped! Let me know what exactly you want me to take dimensions of and I will go out and do some measuring and hit you back up

@@OJCoz Hey man that's actually perfect thank you. Love the channel, hopefully I'll have something presentable to share when its all said and done!
@SuperxFPS awesome brother let me know because I would love to show it off! Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions

And where are your gloves?!
Just kidding, nice work buddy.
I like taking risk:)
So when are we going camping? 757 EvlBeeKlr.
Oh man my schedule is stupid right now. I’ll give you a heads up after Thanksgiving and see what we can come up with that works
