Very informative interaction. My father died at Kumarkhali, Kushtia , Khulna in Bangladesh on 15 December 1971 during 1971 Indo-Pak War and awarded Vir Chakra. I was about 6 month old. My father’s unit was honoured with battle honour, “ Kumarkhali”. This war was seems to be completely preventable if religion along with ethinicity, culture, traditions, etc were kept in mind during 1947 partition of the country. Thank you so much to both of you.

In 1971 this humble individual was a student of 10th class IN jallandhar cantt,since HAVING MILITARY background.our principal was LATE indi dass Zardari. He would always tell the students THAT SITUATION was heading for a conflict between INDIA and pakistan. THE WAS pakisyan ARMY COMMITTED atrocities against it's own people annoyed ALMIGHTY allah or god or divine powers.and the rest,as they say is history.thanks very much.

Ye actual surrender thha world history mein. Pistol down karna, unke car mein Bharat ka jhhanda, half sign karne ke chalte dobara sign karwana etc,etc...surrender ke time emotional hona matlab dil-dimaag aur physically har lihaaj se surrender thha wo bhi 93000 fauj ke saath. Sun ke poora dil-dimaag mein ek sansani ho jata hai. A big deal with nice strategies.

I would like to mention here that unfortunately Bangladesh a country which attained freedom unconditionally with whole support by India, now the same country, I have to mention actually the current goverment of Bangladesh is taking stupid actions against our country India, and its people too. As they do know that they as nothing in front of our great country 'India' so now they are taking their foot back in terms of language they have mentioned within these 1-2 months. What a shame for this Bangladeshi goverment, hope they get their brains in the right place before India take any harsh steps against them. Sir मेरी ऊस वक्त चार साल सरवस थी ।मुझे 93और 96 पाकिस्तानी कैदी कैप गया जी मे बतौर नर्सिंग असिस्टेंट डियूटी करने का मौका भी मिला था। वहा पर कैदीया की मनपसंद भारत की फिल्म लगा करती थी और अपना खाना भी खुद बनाते थे।कुछ पैसे भी दिये जाते थे। मतलब हर सहुलियत दी जाती थी।दूसरी तरफ जो हमारे सैनिक ऊन की कैद मे थे जरा ऊन से पुछे ऊन के साथ किया बर्ताव हुआ ।हमारे तो ऊनहौ ने 56 कैदी भी सबूत होने के बावजूद भी नही छोडे थे।जो बहुत सारे मर गए होगे और कुछ नर्क की जिंदगी जीं रहे होंगे। फौज ने तो आपको जीत दिलाई पर सरकार ने इस का लाभ नही लिया है।मेरा यह लेख मेरे नाम से पेपर मे प्रकाशित भी हुआ था.हम आज की सरकार पर बहुत ऊमीद कर सकते है।,

Govt of Pakistan denied many times the presence of our bravehearts in their custody.
