I recently played a lot of Pokemon TCG Online and have now started playing Lorcana and I feel like in many cases if you dont put a lot of emphasis on Card draw in this game you end up topdecking and this is what makes amerhyst stronger than all the rest because it developes board while making you draw cards so you dont end up only being able to play one random card every turn. It's not very flashy like your big Sisus or Tamatoas or whatever but it just lets you play the game and have more interaction. Pretty much unconditional card draw right now is really the strongest 'mechanic' in this game.
Great interview! Ed played it masterfully. If the opponent drops a lucky dime in this matchup, I always feel the game becomes very difficult to win. So good there was no one :)
Did you close your eyes when they showed the list?? This list plays entirely differently and was played specifically for ruby/sapphire. That's the meta breaker part of the deck. Not the colors
@@BasketballLover312 Nothing about the deck is so different other than a couple of quantity numbers. It doesn't play differently to any other control deck. Amber steel songs and dwarfs mine is an entirely different. Control is just control. Change the font a little bit it's overall the same. Or maybe the Atlanta R/A decks are just that oppressive and overrepresented.
Rumor has it that he’s still drawing cards to this day.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The rest of the world is playing Lorcana, meanwhile Ed Chiu is on “the art of war”. Insane review and great insight on how he views the game
Ed, I think I became 10x better just by your insight.
Speci we need more of these interviews!!! Thanks for this one!
Also… Ed, thank you for the giving speci & us the pleasure of this interview, Speci - we’d love to see some more of these 🥰🥰 xx
yesss - love the interviews with the champs!
Most insightful interview out of the last 1000 of these I’ve watched across multiple tcg’s. Fantastic job Speci!
The poker face Ed stares you down with is great. Whole different level
Really insightful. Thanks for getting this interview!
44:33 excellent, question. Thank you!!

How did I miss this 😭😭. Great vid x
Excellent interview! Wow!
Great video, great insights
What a humble stand up guy!
That last game he uses gramma tala and has the choice between the three cost sisu or Maui shark. I think him picking sisu cost him the game
Predator what a show man =) GG
Meta breaker? Its literally the meta?
Meta breaker??? The most consistent top cutting deck in the game wins the tournament? Color me shocked -_-

In a game of inches, the changes Edmond made are huge. Don’t be disingenuous.
This was a meta deck. Not a meta breaker. Just played a great game.
