I have spent my childhood praying at this mosque 🕌. I have a lot of memories coming for juma and tarveeh with my father. Thank you for sharing. Plus my mamu was one of the architects of this mosque
Masjid Tooba is a wonderful landmark, which attracts a large number visitors to see and glorify its beauty. In Pakistan, there are number of such structures, which show beautiful architecture of the past. It is unfortunate that Pakistan, which was created in the name of religion, has not patronized the construction and management of mosques, but it contradicts to other Islamic countries, where the governments have built very beautiful mosques specially in GCC, Turkey, Malaysia. Due to the lack of State support, the religious thought has played havoc with the religion and have constructed mosques on the basis of their different faiths and sects. In Islam, mosques are symbol of prayers and purification and every believer is supposed to pray inside any mosque, but unfortunately people of different sects prefer to pray in their own mosques. This is totally against the spirit of deen, which needs to be corrected in Pakistan (Jalbani Baloch)
I completely respect and agree with what you have written BUT the last time I went to a Shia mosque, the kind of things that the Imam was saying about Allah, Hazrat Ali, and the Actual and True last Prophet was blasphemous. Shia muslims must tone down their rhetoric about the greatness of Hazrat Ali. You absolutely can not say that it's Hazrat Ali THEN Allah, Then Mohammed PBUH. But this is being said in a place of Islamic workship, then it's time for me to leave to stay respectful of Shia Muslim Brothers.
