Do you know if removing the resonators makes a big difference... I have the same muffler with the stock resonators and I'm debating on getting them removed.
Removing the resonators will make it noticeably louder. You're also going to have more drone. Resonators are there to tone down the sound, and even out the drone.
If you want it louder then what you have delete the resonators =) i also deleted the resonators on my truck you get a more full sound from that flowmaster.

Would taking the resonator off give more crackle sound? Right now mines all stock single pipe with the flowmaster 40.
