Strathbogie Ranges Camping, James Reserve VIC & extra reviews (3 Sept 2024)

I spent a few days camping at James Reserve Campground in the Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria.
Had two lovely nights all alone there this week. Possums, wombats, roos, wallabies and birds. Clean grounds & drop loo. Cute creek. Pleasant walks. Rocky Ned campground and falls eastbound on Lima East Rd/Tk. Moonee Creek Tk to Carters Lookout & Sandy Ck falls a little tricky for 2WD. Peaceful.
Filmed with a Sony HDR-X3000 and photos taken with Nikon D750. Edited with Vegas Pro 15.

Loved the journey, mate! (And it hit the spot. Came back from a stressful day at work, and this was the first thing that landed in my feed. 🙂) First of all, love the name, Strathbogie. Relaxing to hit the trails with you. And I agree: love the rocks, but not the noise of the rec vehicles. And, as always, a nice song selection at the end. 😎👍
