I would highly recommend the mod Vehicle Path Viewer... it gives you a line showing the path instead of just the arrows that are not very clear as to what path your even on. Your deadlocks are due to the trucks crossing in front of each other going both ways. Imagen driving on a highway and someone ends up coming at you going the wrong way. Same concept. Their paths need to be a loop where the returning side doesn't cross in front of oncoming traffic. They will not 'go around' one another as there's no pathfinding really with them, they just follow what path you give them.
@@DrawingXaos Yeah trucks and such are very tricky. To have any luck with them they pretty much have to be driven as if they were on a road, each way staying to their own side or 'lane' like how you have the drop off. The deadlocks are like head-on collisions where they come face to face.
You could simply build a 2 foundation wide each way road with the truck stations decorated like it was a gas station. And the In and out on the opposite sides instead of a turn around. I would like to see you make a nice clean highway 🤣
I really wish there was a way to deal with the giant beans. They just get so annoying wandering your factory floor, being in the way, getting stuck on things and causing build blocks.
i know what you mean, there fun for awhile but can be a pain in the butt sometimes. i think if you kill them, and have buildings in the area they will not respawn.
@@lular2.0MARF you can use the satisfactory mod launcher to manage the mods and in case you want to remove them it's easier. And it's all allowed. Your play, your rules!
lol completely understandable. it would have been better with infrastructure but that is just too much, and at that point i might as well have made belts.
This will never work ive tryed, just run trains, i have 3 sulpher carts n 3 coal.. making 900 compact coal a minute hopefully should beable to add another 450
@@DrawingXaos you'll want to leave at least one foundation space. Also, there is a known issue with truck pauses, if the game is saved at that moment after reload they just get stuck...remove any pauses, other than yellow one where load/unload at the station is. Im running over 40 trucks with no issues and deadlocks, obey the traffic laws lol They bump into each other and they fly off the highway but eventually then continue on their path.
@@DavidAlexandre609 that works, i got some blueprints on my own and even though they looked crooked at start the new ones are great. Im too lazy to redo them because of the truck lines lol
You calling truck stations "train stations" was your conscious warning you that this is a bad idea and to return to the way of the train lol
hahahaha, sounds about right.

now that is cool, i would have to try it out, but they seem to be working not... i mena give it a min and it should deadlock again i bet lol

Considered using trees for power poles? I did, hides them, keeps nature looking natural.
I started placing wall connectors inside my roads.
Easy to split off unseen into the factory, too.
that would be crazy, also i think i blew a bunch of them up already lol
try making a highway for the trucks, it’s way easier, but uses more materials (it’s worth it though)
At that point I might as well have belts I think.
I don't think it was the trucks that were the disaster in this video.
lol yeah, mr. bean was a train wreak lol
Hilarious watching you drive and set up truck logistics.
Yeah, trucks are a mess. lol
"Theres no way this will cause problems" he says with thousands of hours in the game knowing its going to cause problems.... content i supose.
lol its always the minor things that cause problems,
The struggle is real
agreed.
Yep. Mr. Bean.... Just like typical management. Wandering around. Getting in the way. Pretending to understand what's going on.
hahahaha, thats it, he is being promoted next episode.

a highway sounds nice, but if i was going to build all that, i might as well have made convoy lines.
Not only in 1.0 ...
lol true, but i didnt use much of them then.

There's a mod that removes them.
Personally, I find their curiosity amusing.
The boombox Bass Boost will make them run away without hurting them! But that won’t always work if they’re stuck clipping through something

i got a question are mods legal to use ?? on steam also ??
@@lular2.0MARF you can use the satisfactory mod launcher to manage the mods and in case you want to remove them it's easier. And it's all allowed. Your play, your rules!
you can use mods and still get achievements. and the devs work with the modding community to help some mods work... so i would say yes.

I can't drive either, thus I gave up on trucks and tractors.

If I saw it correctly, you didn't upgrade the last bit of the belt going into the truck station (Sam)
It looks like the last bit from the lift already was a mk4, he probably had that in mind when he connected it to the truckstop ;)
the last bit was mk 4 i made when building it initially
@@DrawingXaos ok, didn't say anything 🤣
I wanna see your save file map!
well you can, its in the discord... not this part of the map though but hey, its a start.

Nice, luckily i don't need much so will be interesting to see how it goes.
What a thrillllll
lol thanks.
15 min in already an issue - stations can grab items from passing by vehicles
yeah, it was a huge pain as i dont build with trucks like ever so i didnt know what i was doing... but it was fun lol.

Trucks were always a Disaster since this game was released on Early Access. 1.0 release ignored a lot of broken things.
lol as is tradition
