Lennon could be developing some slight arthritis due to age, hence why she might not like to jump into her litterbox anymore. You could try a litterbox with lower sides, and lay a rug by the entrance so she has plenty of grip to hop in. I also recommend feeding Oxbow Joint Support for healthy joint maintenance.
As my bunny boy got older he started having accidents and I just replaced his litter box with one that like was longer and took up more space with lower sides sk it's easier for him to hop in and it's made all the difference.
I and my daughters are huge fans since around six months back, you’ve helped us improve our bunny care so much from the start. Love seeing how Lennon isn’t perfect and just living life similar to our bunny at home ❤️
I love these morning videos with Lennon and Lorelei. The mood is so casual and peaceful. The educational videos are important but these "Day in the life of Lennon and Lorelei" videos are pure entertainment and so relaxing to watch. Please make more.
Litter discipline very much changes with age: at 11 years our bun started pooping in his sleep, eg on the carpet where he's chilling out, and sometimes it just drops out as he runs, at 12 years it's all over the place, and he has the odd pee accident so we had to arrange our living area to keep him close to his litter tray. He's also got very territorial and started spraying (hasn't done that since he was a baby pre neuter). We forgive him in his old age and still love him. Lennon's looking very healthy and happy.
In regards to her having accidents outside of her litter box, try one with a lower entrance! Since she’s getting older she may just be having trouble getting into such a high litterbox so that may help
Lol i actually thought my buns were the only ones who ransacked their litterbox. Apparently the legendary Lennon does it as well! Your videos are always entertaining and cute, keep it up girl! You and Lennon are my idols 💕 You are very inspiring and positive!!! 😊
“Lennon isn’t perfect” She seems pretty perfect to me. My bunny will move the litter box, even though I’m securing it with rocks all around, and then precede to pee where the litter box just stood
@@claire848 No I don’t, the pet stores near me don’t have much for rabbits and what they have is usually treats for rodents and rabbits according to them. I found storage boxes that was better than what the pet store have. Does it help with a covered litter box?
@elsa No actually I am really happy you don’t have one, I was asking to make sure you don’t because covered litter boxes don’t have proper ventilation so rabbits tend to next enjoy using them as much. If the litter box is not in a corner of the room that might be effecting the pee issue otherwise I’m not sure. Btw in my opinion storage containers make the best litter boxes 😊
@@claire848 I also use storage containers, mainly because every litter box the pet store had was too small. I moved around the rabbit things a bit and so fas it’s been better with an ikea bed next to it. It might have been a bit tall for him so having some else to jump up on first probably helped. My rabbit will also refuse to step directly on the floor so I think it helped to get a shorter rug and having the litter box directly on the floor. If he moves the litter box now, he won’t want to be where it stood and I haven’t seen him move it this week which is improvement

Even though you were disappointed, I appreciate you showing times when Lennon marks the apartment, despite being litter trained. My rabbits are pretty good, but like pooping near their sleeping areas. (I sometimes think because we live in an colonial house split into apartments and all the other tenants have dogs). But I love the smoothie idea. I have smoothies with vegetables, fruit, juice, nuts and oatmeal so I wonder if I can try making something to entice the bunnies sometimes.

My female rabbit started peeing outside of her litter box too last year. It turns out she had a bladder stone because of higher calcium content in her pee. We had to reduce the higher calcium veggies in her diet and reduce pellets and it reduced the problem significantly. I would get a urine test for Lennon and possibly a bladder x ray if necessary. Fluffy's stone was a coincidental finding on her x ray.
This is such a good comment! Sometimes, we as pet owners, forget that something could be medically wrong and punish our animals for accidents, chewings, etc. When in reality, it could be medical and once that concern is fixed, the problem stops! Always check with your vet!!
My 2 - 10yr old bucks appetite s are decreasing, but they eat a good variety of food.. bit of pellets and veggies.. a sm slice of carrot , a piece of broccoli , followed with a snap pea , some diced swt potato. Top with greens.. Rabbits definitely know routines. When my alarm goes off, my rabbit, Rex, is right there. He knows it is time for breakfast. He also seems to know the routine I have every morning. When I'm about to leave for work, he comes after me for his treat he gets before I leave.
@@cindyfoster9811 I've owned rabbits for many years. They went everywhere. My current, will not walk on anything that is slippery. I put runners down so he will have more area to be in. He was found as a baby with 5 sisters, someone adopted him, but they had ferrets who did not get along with him, and now he is mine for 3 years now 🙂 whatever he went through before, he has an aversion to slippery surfaces. So I adapt, for him to be comfortable.
Lennon IS perfect. Or, rather, she lives her best rabbit life. With that said, our bun Buddy regularly drops pellets outside of his litter boxes. One more so than others, for some reason. Although his litter box habits are generally good, he will occasionally drop a decent payload while he is eating his lettuce/kale/radicchio mix. We clean with a smile. Rabbits inspire that.

This is so beautiful and priceless! How amazing. I’m going to try this recipe with my sweet Bunny 🐰 to. Thank you so much 💕
Rabbits definitely know routines. When my alarm goes off, my rabbit, Rex, is right there. He knows it is time for breakfast. He also seems to know the routine I have every morning. When I'm about to leave for work, he comes after me for his treat he gets before I leave.
I thought rabbits need a soft surface to walk on..I'm a little suprise in the video she's on flooring .
I love all your videos your amazing and the reasons my bunnies have an amazing life
