Thanks, for all you do! I like your truthful coverage. Mad respect for educating everyone. BTC's price plunged but buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, After all, it is only a very tough call to figure out what to do aside from holding. The good thing about the space is that you can buy the dips and put them into active trades, while confidently waiting for a pump in price because it is inevitable. Most people do not understand how the space works. Your advantage is understanding, Charts won’t guarantee what an asset is going to do. Prices will go up or down. Nevertheless, the market has been so profitable despite..managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Donna Mikalonis, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Sandraintexas - I hear more and more of these personal experiences - which is why I don't buy that the economy is in good shape. I do wonder if we will have a future where people won't completely retire but move to semi-retirement, like your husband - working maybe 15 or 20 hours a week until they are 75. We are living so much longer. It isn't realistic that people will have a 30 year retirement. It is just too expensive to live.

Pento has a pretty good track record on market fundamentals, interest rates , bonds, etc. He has been wrong on short term market direction (say 12-24 months). He is right though - eventually we’ll see a major crash. Market exuberance can carry on for a lot longer than people expect. Personally, I am out except for a few stocks I have gains in that continue to climb. Will protect those gains via trailing stops. Cash is earning over 5%. I plan to redirect into commodities as the market rolls over. Current excess income is being redirected to gold - it’s a good way to save.

In the old school markets, people had traditional retirements, ss and healthcare from their employer. The market didn't matter to the average joe. Today, everything is in the market, it goes down, everyone goes down. The reality is they don't know how to manage it. So they print to keep everything constantly increasing in value.

Great animated chat. Michael is funny! He sure loves a podcast.
The 5% restaurant example was really good actually. Those small margins can sometimes be everything. Actually particularly in hospitality which runs on fine margins generally. I cannot say I have noticed empty cafés but I have noticed the cheapest cafe in town being busier than usual. There is definitely a downgrading happening. But at this point it's not stopping people spending. Tourism is still busier than ever. I think I heard it was the busiest day on record in the US not so long ago for flights. Barcelona is also struggling to keep pace with tourism, like so many places now. Also people are taking on pets at record levels - also a luxury expense. So I think the idea that everyone is buckling isn't actually true yet. As others have said people prefer to keep spending and just use credit.

Pento is one of your best guests for a reason - he speaks well. Too many of your guests, like Lance Roberts, start a sentence, but don't finish it before moving in a new direction. Lance will start 3 or 4 sentences and finish one. Claudia Sahm did the same thing. It was too painful to follow. Pento speaks very well.

Fed will just buy the long end if it blows out. Ive replaced the bonds in my portfolio with EPD which has inflation indexed revenue and fixed rate borrowings with an averge maturity of 10 years.

Great bromance rapport between Adam and Pento, lol. Fun to listen to. Pento's bearish calls have been way too early but I think his assessments are correct nonetheless.

Is there any accountability for these guys whom promise doom and gloom. They have been on this channel for years now, given plenty of air-time, yet their predictions never come true. I just don’t understand how these arguments stack up. The Fed can print money whenever they want - and do. Sure, there is a bubble in tech, but the real economy beyond this is holding up. Profits are growing, stocks are stable, and no foreseeable event representing a structural failure. Stimulus can can come from money printing if there a decline…. That said, I’m a keen watcher of your channel and appreciate your work!!

There never is any accountability. They make bad predictions for at least 2 years now. Then they come back on the show and act like all their prior terrible predictions never happened. Adam won’t call them on this, because if he did it would be end of the show because the guests would stop showing up.

I’m sorry Adam is completely irresponsible. He’s pushing these active managers that are selling fear so they can pick uneducated middle class investors pockets. It’s frankly disgusting.

Measuring in gold Dow was 18 ounces of honest gold money in 1929 and still is in 2017 to 2024. Zero gain in 95 years in honest money.
