Recorded in Seattle, during the last show of their 2002 Summer Of Love Tour, sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson and company put on one fantastic performance. New members of the group include Scott Olson on guitar (longtime guitarist Howard Leese is no longer with the band), Mike Inez on bass guitar, Ben Smith on drums and Tom Kellock on keyboards.

One more comment- She had not lost any range or overall tone in her voice in almost fifty years. Yeah Suzi, that was a saucy lyric back in the seventies.

Please watch and listen to" Mistral wind" from the same show in Seattle. You will love and get excited about the soft beautifu master l guitar playing Nancy does on this song. The power and dynamics in Ann's voice, as she sings with her sister. I personally think it's the best ballad they've ever done. Hope you both enjoy it.

Y'all are hilarious; I love your reactions. Also just fun when Suzie Q suddenly goes all giggly at "He's got the magic hands" ROFL
In 1975 when this song came out, that was absolutely *not* the kind of thing we were allowed to hear on the radio. Until the Wilson sisters just did it. Did it with heart and soul and groove, and we all ate it up. (OK, I was super young when it came out, but this was still a huge song on the radio in the late 70s and throughout the 80s.)

    • @jasonfisher8529

And, yes, Ann always had that grit and swag in her voice, but she's settled into it even more over the years! And I love that Nancy still does backups. Legends.

Dont quote me, but I'm pretty sure the "magic man" shes singing about was the guitar player. To my understanding they were in a relationship early on in the band's career but broke up after some time (yet still played together). So, likely the magic hands line is a double entendre. 🤘

Heart is a great band, Anne & Nancy Wilson are basically Heart and the other players have chenged over the years though for a while Jason Bonham had been on drums and for those who don't know he's the son of Led Zepplin's great drummer John Bonham. Not to take anything away from Jason, he's an incredible drummer in his own right. Back in 2010 He had recruted the Wilson sisters & the rest of Heart to do a double bill Heart/the Led Zepplin experience & He was the drummer at the Kennedy Center when they did Stairway to Heaven in the tribute to Led Zepplin.

I had the opportunity to see them fairly early in thier career. In fact it was August 16th 1977, remember that date, at a small arena on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ. It was the tour for the Little Queen album and of course they played this one of off Dreamboat Annie. Oh, Rick Derringer opened for them. Now as for the date, it was the day Elvis died and back then there wasn't 24 hour news or social media. We found out because someone had a transistor radio on while we were sitting on the grass outside of Convention Hall. To close out the show they did Zeppelin's Rock n Roll and dedicated it to the King. There's a great live video of them doing Crazy on You from the Little Queen tour back in 1977 here on TH-cam, you guys should check it out.

I love it that she has bare feet. This song she wrote about her boyfriend Michael who was the lead guitarist's brother. Roger the guitarist who got involved with Nancy. Ann and Michael split after 8 yrs. No Autotune

Y'all should do Skillet during there beginning it was John Cooper lead singer/Bass guitar, Korey Cooper John's wife keyboardist/Rhythm Guitar/background Vocals, they had a male drummer and some different lead guitarists but from there 2000 album they got a female drummer named Lori Peters and she stayed with them until the Comatose album then they got Jen Ledger which is there current drummer and she also sings background vocals and has her own music with some of the members of Skillet being her band members and from Alien Youth to Awake they had a lead guitarist name Ben Kasica and then they got Seth Morrison now. So now its John Cooper lead singer/Bass guitar, Korey Cooper John's wife keyboardist/Rythum Guitar, background vocals, Seth Morrison lead guitar, and Jen Ledger Drummer/ background vocals
