I moved from Palm Beach, Florida to Mooresville in February and let me tell you I did not like it at first. It was too cold. I’m used to that city life. I’m used to the beach now It’s a Lake for me which I do not do lake. But the people here are friendly, very quiet and the food is absolutely good.

For the most part what you said was true, Mooresville is a great place to live, but, there’s alway a but, let’s face it, Mooresville is growing, growing way too much and fast. Coming from NYC I understand what living in a crowded area is like, this is why I moved here, but in the ten years since I’ve been here, it’s gotten way too busy.
They’re over building without making any improvements to the road system. They need a moratorium on building more homes so they can improve the infrastructure first.
But all in ll, I do enjoy living here.

I am actually going to Mooresville in a couple days. Is there a hotel you would suggest. Last time I stayed at the Hampton Inn, which was great.

Don’t. Just don’t. You will be leaving here in less than a year. Everyone moving here has turned it into a craphole.
Mooresville traffic is horrendous . Traffic due to very few road to use. Too many dead end roads because of the lake, highway 77, non commuter train tracks, subdivisions, farms and open land. The traffic is not just on the 77 it is all throughout. Don’t do it unless you work from home.

This place is a craphole. Traffic , traffic , traffic and it’s way too crowded. If you want to sit in traffic half your life then this is where you need to be. Lake Norman is a cluster **** on the weekends. Taxes skyrocketed. Yeah that’s the real story
