Hello there. I was diagnosed with MS in 1992. 60 years old now 😢. I came across the carnivore diet 12 days ago, then searched on MS and the cd. Blimey.
I’m now 10 days into the diet and I am noticing a difference in my walking. It’s phenomenal. This should be front page news everywhere. It is good for MS but so many more conditions.
My brother, who’s a bit chubby, knew about it for weight loss, and a nutrition friend for general good health, but this is brand new.
Thank you so much for your videos. There’s not a great deal out there but 🎉
    Amazing. ❤❤

@@NYNC88almost right away. I must say she went batsh#t crazy in the early months when she realized she could put the MS into remission. She went full carnivore no cheating just ruminant meats and water. Not only did her physical condition improve but her cognitive abilities too. Her concentration radically improved as she had ADHD, depression, alcoholic and bipolar. Everything turned completely around.

Have a steak on me. It's good for what ails you! 16-8 is my preference. Beef, butter, bacon, and eggs is my everyday menu. I do have some raw milk and yogurt for snack. Maybe some sardines or fish now and again. I think I eat this way because I'm lazy, it's just easy.

I too am using Carnivore to heal my MS. I had complete numbness from middle of my right forearm to fingertips and hand was non functional. I had two lesions. One one my brain one on my cervical spine. The neurologist said I'm one of the only people he's ever seen that had symptoms with so few lesions. I am 53 days in to doing carnivore. I am doing Lion Diet until I heal all symptom. So Beef, Lamb, Salt and water. I'm going to be strict til I don't have symptoms and then gradually add things back in. I think you are spot on with you have to find what works for you. If soy sauce is the only thing that helps you get through the transition then by all means use it.

You will need electrolytes in the carnivore diet. Take some magnesium, for example, and make sure you go out in the sun daily to get D3. You will also need to eat organ meats, if you don't, you will also need to supplement with Zinc (no, the carnivore muscle diet doesn't balance it out against its antagonist, copper). And finally, as this youtuber had correctly said in the past, the final puzzle piece is 16-8 fasting. You eat twice a day, ~7 hours apart, with no snacks. You give time to your time to heal, otherwise it spends all its energy digesting.

Carnivore Cooking Nashville (I think that's the channel's name) claims to have a recipe for carnivore "soy sauce." I've never tried it, but I'm just putting that info out there.
Tamari sauce is another alternative, slightly preferable because it doesn't contain wheat. Coconut aminos is another sauce said to taste similar, but may be preferable since it doesn't have soy.
Just some options for people to think about.

Many of us do not need supplementation with this way of eating especially after months and years. I’m an example of no meds, no pills. Had a blood test to check levels. Those still healing may need supplement assistance but it’s for the individual to check. Wish you all the best in the world. 🤗

I eat mostly carnivore but sometimes ketovoire - but very minimal carbs, maybe some onions with my steak or a little lettuce with chicken. I think it is incredible how carnivore has helped your MS heal. Obviously it might have put it into remission but that’s still amazing. I don’t have MS but I am 68 and have cured my metabolic syndrome so that’s a win win and I have no aches and pains. I’ve never looked my age,cos I’m young at heart, but now I don’t feel it either. I’m still on a weight loss journey, still got 7lbs to lose but everything else it good. I absolutely love this way of eating. I’m always full so never need to snack . I just wish I had done it when I was younger. Good health to you x

I don't have MS but you are very interesting to listen to. I always am happy to see when you've put a new video out. Thank you for sharing your life with us ❤
I too add little bits here & there of non-carnivore seasonings or foods, such as mushrroms, onion, horseradish, peppers etc at times. Not all the time. You are right, it's up to the individual & what can they tolerate without it doing harm. I do notice when I add those things, I don't lose as much weight. I'm trying to lose weight with carnivore. So I can't add them consistently.
It'll be really interesting to see the results of a new MRI.

I think this is a great example of everyone needing to have their own journey with the carnivore lifestyle. If you're just starting, I would recommend just using salt, then adding in seasonings if you feel you need them, to see how you react. I was desperately trying to find ways to circumvent the basic "rules" of carnivore because I was so accustomed to garlic, pepper, and other seasonings, but you'd be amazed at how your tastes change when you cut those things out of your diet for a period of time. I think you have to remember that food isn't just about taste, it's about memory - we have a memory of what something tastes like and that memory triggers positivity and endorphins. You'll soon find when on carnivore for a few months, those memories are just that. You may fall off the wagon and eat something with sugar because you have the memory of it being delicious, but what's in your mouth tastes sickly sweet and NOT delicious. And it makes you feel terrible after the fact. So I would say, give yourself time, keep an open mind, your tastes and cravings will change as you continue your carnivore journey and it's so worth the effort because of the remarkable change in your health!!!!

If you don't have a fridge, I highly recommend looking into making pemmican. It's actually pretty simple to make and it lasts for years at room temperature. And it's kinda addictive, lol. Basically you just dehydrate beef chips, crush those up in a blender until they're like saw dust. Then put them in a bowl and mix in warmed up beef tallow until it's about the consistency of wet sand. Then pour into silicone moulds and let it sit until it cools off and solidifies. It's a bit time consuming, but really easy.

Fellow MSer here. I'm almost 6 months carnivore now. I haven't seen any improvement on my fatigue, but my health is more complicated, so that's not a surprise. I was on the Wahls diet for more than a decade and it seemed to help keep the relapses away, though I always had a few little lesions come and go on my MRIs. Then a few years ago I suddenly started having grand mal seizures, which may or may not be related to my MS. That's why I eventually decided to go carnivore. Still waiting to see what it will do for me. I think I'm just one who is going to need a lot more time and work to really start healing. I agree that it's too soon to say if it has really cured your MS. That will take years because relapses come and go. But I am curious too to see what your next MRI looks like! I know it has cured some people of their MS for the long term, so there is definitely hope.

Hi from Australia, Stay positive, and determined in your mind that you shall triumph and succeed with your health. I'm a nurse who for the past ten years have had 2 kinds of autoimmune diseases and suffer with neuropathy from a cervical/ thoracic syrinx ( hole in the spinal cord) . The realization that no one was going to cure me has been a gradual shift, starting with 2022 when for 6 months I was unable to use my hands, wrists very much at all. It was completely debilitating and scary, however, more scary was the response from my Rheumatologist & GP, who said (I quote) " you're a mystery'". After all the medications and horrible side effects, I remain unwell. So I began watching, all the proponents of carnivore, the Dr's , specialists, all speaking up about flawed medical science and nutrition, etc, etc, and a week later, eating , beef, sardines, small amounts of chicken, green tea, and Spring H2O, I'm significantly improved. Im so grateful, so inspired, by all the people's stories, excited the medical world is waking up, and functional medicine is taking hold. Food companies should wake up now, and cease poisoning people. I tried to buy some cream from the supermarket for my friend, and was so furious to note each brand, had hideous inflammatory ingredients! I feel so welcomed by this community and proud to be here. With love to each of you.❤❤

    • @authenticmslife
      @authenticmslife หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@77gira Yes, I have increased my fat quite a bit over the past few months. I'm trying to keep a good level of ketosis and that requires lots of fat. Tallow can cause diarrhea, but it's all I had for quite a while with my limitations. So for months I likely wasn't absorbing nutrition very well. Now I'm finally blessed with fattier cuts of meat, and also unaged to limit the histamines. All of that has been a huge help. Still a long way to go, but it's a start.

I think it's great that you went on this diet. Congratulations. You are a person who has been through hard times and you rose from it. This is hope for others with similar problems. The carnivore diet cures diseases because you do not provide plants that cause these diseases with their toxins. You remove the cause. And of course, if you sometimes eat some vegetables, but meat is still the main component of your diet, you are still taking good care of yourself. And a little carrots for dogs make their coat shiny ;)

For anyone who's wondering about soy, I read once that just a spoonful of certain types of soy can affect hormones as strongly as a birth control pill, so it's definitely worth seeing if a switch for a month or two creates a difference! Coconut milk is my go-to. It's the least likely to cause reactions compared to nut or grain based milks for sensitive systems.

I live in the south of Spain in a mountain village called Casares, the bacon as you know is a bit different but the other day in Lidl (on the coast), i was able to find some thick cut bacon that doesn't shrivel to nothing. Red meat would be better for the nutrient profile, again, in my own opinion only. I drink tea with a drop of double cream, low in lactose. Soya milk is another choice, but is a fairly dreadful product imho from the glyphosphate and processing. We all do it our own way. I also have a bit of soy sauce, mainly with pork, or worcester sauce with ground beef. I season with salt pepper and sometimes BBQ seasoning. So it's down to your own preferences. After the enormous benefits we get from the basic carnivore approach, it's a very personal thing and should support each other, not be bullied!
