  • This hazelnut paste can be used in so many recipes but it is also delicious on its own! The smell of the room after making this is amazingly sweet and nutty.
    The deeply roasted hazelnuts ensure that the flavours come through in recipes such as ice cream, creme brulee and chocolate.

    Thank you for this! I made Christina Tosi's Banana Cake and ordered two jars of imported italian hazelnut paste in order to make it, which was $50. Now, I can make my own for much cheaper! Thank you!

    Thank you for this! Before this, I don’t have any guide so my paste turned out to be not-so-paste lookalike. I’m gonna try this out.

    Thank you! Two questions -> How many hazelnuts do you put in the oven? And Is it 140 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? Love this 😂

      Hi @@kirasingh8151! Thank you for your support! We basically roasted as many hazelnuts as a tray would fit - using a low temperature and a long roasting process means it does not matter how many hazelnuts are in the oven. We are using Celcius :)

    Hi Aussie's, I love you guys.
    How long overall do I need to use nutri ninja?
    Is it take like 10min with 1min break each time?

    What kind of a food processor/blender do you use? Can I use a food extractor for this or I would need a blender?

    • @dessertisans
      @dessertisans  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We use a Nutribullet. Food processors would work great as well. Make sure to check your machine's instructions to ensure that it is usable for nut pastes and butters etc

    How long can I keep this and where should I store ? In the refrigerator ?

    • @dessertisans
      @dessertisans  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi, the hazelnut paste should last as long as the 'best before' date on your raw hazelnuts! Make sure you use a sterlised jar with an airtight lid to reduce the chances of it spoiling. We recommend storing this in your pantry for up to 6 months.

    If we use 300g of hazelnut at the beginning how many grams of the paste we will get at the end!

    Can I add some coconut oil? Thank you for sharing

    • @AussieZach88
      @AussieZach88 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could add coconut oil to this yes but you would need to make sure the coconut oil is in a liquid form first if not just melt it before adding it into the nuts after they after have been processed a few times first

    Did you add water to make it as a paste?

    • @dessertisans
      @dessertisans  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No water at all, it's 100% hazelnut! :)

  • @hanalte

    how do you store it? if we put it in a fridge will it be harden?

    • @dessertisans
      @dessertisans  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should last for a few months in a cool (room temperature away from heat sources) dark place. You can place it in the fridge as well. I suspect it won't harden but if it does, it should liquify at room temperature.

    Do you add some sugar to make it sweet??

    • @dessertisans
      @dessertisans  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No sugar at all - the paste is 100% hazelnut and deliciously nutty by itself! This allows you to control the amount of sugar in recipes using hazelnut paste for the best ultimate outcomes.

    How long will this last for?

    • @Natalie_Malin
      @Natalie_Malin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an answer from earlier. Just scroll down. Basically it will last as long as the hazelnut itself will last. So just check the expiring date of the nuts and you will know.
