Thank you, thank you so much, Susan. I loved this video and perfect timing for me. Introducing silent e after vacation. I , also, want to say I love watching the videos with your family. You are such a good mom!!! Always so calm and patient and especially with everything on your plate. Thank you so much. I look forward to everything!!
I love your videos. I homeschooled during the worst of the pandemic (K-1). My son went back to school in January (1st grade) and is behind in math more so than reading, but still needs some support with reading also. He is really just getting to a place to retain all the things he learns regarding reading and math. He has also been going to Mathnasium for over a year. I wish you would talk some about what parents can do, and how they can work with the child's teacher, as vaccinated kids are reintegrated into the public school classroom after being homeschooled prior to vaccination. From what I hear on the soccer field, this is actually a common enough situation that it needs to be addressed, both to parents and teachers.
Love your vidoes! You and Sarah's Snippets are two of my favorite teachers to learn from! We are introducing syllable division rules this year which we've not done before (rabbit rule, pigpen rule). Do you have any tips for teaching these? I teach first. Thank you!
Hello Susan, Recently I started to watch your video. They are really good. Very innovative. I have question, I will be very happy if you can make video on that. Can you explain in your video about Metathesis.
I watched and loved as I am getting to silent e with my students. I can't find the "button" to click on to find your resources. Can you help? Thanks tons!
First and foremost, thanks very much for all of your efforts and valuable videos. I have a question and I hope to find an answer from your side. Your answer would immensely help my 9 years old son. He has a very big problem wit ‘ b’ and ‘d’ .. they confused him so much and all the time interchange between them. Consequently, he is suffering a lot from incorrect spelling although he knows the word and the correct spelling. Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to hear a solution from your side🌹🌹
A little trick that has helped my kid was holding my hands with my pointer fingers up and my other fingers forming an o with my thumb. I then told him that my hands are making a “bed” and that the “b” is on the left and the “d” is on the right just like in the word “bed”. He can now hold up his own hands to make a “bed” and see which way the b and d go. I hope that is clear and helps your son.
You are incredible!! Such an encouraging heart for us!
From India. The energy and passion you teach with is so contagious. Thanks loads
This is great! I would love a video about teaching the different vowel teams, i.e. when to use ea, ie, or ee to make the long e sound.
