I need sponsor in USA for Ukraine man 37 years not married program united for Ukraine
Just look at it ! Like you said its a boat with a bad body design
Do the challenger
Really depends on who you ask this is my FAVORITE something about BIG GIRLS drove really sweet and once you got them built right boy would she move too
One reason they weren't as popular was because at that point the HP ratings were so bogged down by emission controls that the allure just wasn't there anymore.
YES! Do the Challenger as soon as possible so the man can fully restore it ASAP! I'm disabled, but I love watching y'all detail these cars! It's really satisfying to see someone care enough about these old cars to try to save them... and y'all do it with loving care for both the cars and the owners.
We definitely will! Seems like a lot of people want us to
Schnouzer, I'm telling you, you won't regret it. My girl hangs out in my garage all the time.
Please do it.❤
“B” model Charger 💁♂️😎💪
@@WDDetailing You needed to be a bit more careful with the steering wheel, there was a stripe pattern on it that you cleaned completely off by accident. You can see it just before you start spraying it, and then the whole centre part of the wheel is a much brighter brown afterwards because the design was erased. I doubled checked other cars, and these stripes are on their steering wheels.
Really appreciate Brett's birthday message. If you're stuggling it always helps to have someone who listens to you and doesn't judge you. May everyone who needs a shoulder to lean on finds one.
Definitely want to see the Challenger too.
1000%
They need restos, not cleaning.
I think it would be cool for you guys to do a follow up video on some of the cars you’ve done in the past. Being able to see them running or restored would be awesome! Happy Birthday, Brent!
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!
I really felt my age when they asked what a Clark bar was lol. Also those clips above the door are probably for the seat belts. Older cars often had holders for them up there.
Also Happy Birthday Brent, this is an amazing channel you guys started here. Im extremely happy for your success, you guys deserve it!
Yes - to store the shoulder belts if you just wanted to use the lap belts.
Correct HC6864, those clips were for seat belts (actually shoulder belts that went across the body diagonally (much safer than these airbags)
Happy Birthday Brent ! 🎉
Haha don't feel old, they still sell Clark Bars where I live, so I know about them. haha
@@caleb_güero Oh really, Id love to try one again for the nostalgia. I feel like I haven't seen one since the 90s but could just be my area.
In the early 70's the shoulder belts were not connected to the lap belts and stored above the door windows for optional use.
The 400 4 barrel is a big block engine and is no slouch. It still has enough horsepower to light the tires up. Yes, that is an original electric factory sunroof. (Rare) The cassette tape player on the console (Rare) could record onto a cassette with a microphone that came with the car. You could record a conversation, notes, or a song on the radio, while driving done the road.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRETT!!" and thanks for sharing your message. If anyone is feeling down, please talk to somebody. Everyone needs a helping hand at times in their lives. 🙏 Keep up the excellent work guys.👍
Thumbs ups for Brent’s Birthday 🎉👍🏻
🎉
Haha thank you!
My birthday was yesterday the 30th. I suffer from anxiety and depression also. I think it is because these guys don't research the cars they detail and ask annoying questions.
H.B. Brent from Costa Rica: you will be very good; I was like you...😊
@michaelwhite2823 We all love that they ask questions that gives us commentators a chance to interact and get involved.
I'm 44, and growing up, our family cars were a 72' Charger and a 70' Challenger. The 72 Charger was the one that got me into cars when I was 3. This is awesome to see!
Love the 71-72 Chargers. The Brougham is the luxury model of the Charger. This car is actually in great shape for a Charger.
Cutlass had the same thing. Brougham, Supreme and a couple different names for the package you got.
Can’t forget about Cadillac. King of brougham.
Yessss please do the other Charger! From my perspective this generation of Charger is not as popular as the previous because it became more bloated, less powerful, and more on the luxe side like this model. Happy Birthday Brent! Thanks for sharing your message and for being an advocate for all of that struggle with these issues. Great job as always guys!
Happy birthday, Brent !!! Thank you for the encouragement. I also struggle with anxiety and depression and pray things get better for both of us. Good to see you on the video today.
I dont know whats more exciting, seeing the transformation on these barn finds or the progression of the Camaro!
Happy Birthday Brent!!!!!!!! Thanks for the kind thought and wish Brent. Hope you have a great day...Make it a good one!!!!! Hope RJ and MIKE do something fun for you!!!!! Aaaaaahhhheemmmm!!!!
We all need to be more kind to one another.
I just bought another gallon of Puro. Best cleaner I have used for my vinyl pool furniture and inflatable pool toys! Of course it is magic on the car. Thank you - Mike those clips above the door opening hold the shoulder belt when not in use. this was during the introduction of shoulder belts. Happy Birthday Brent!
RJ- How about a Pet Rock? no cage and goes millennia without feeding, never makes a mess in its cage
Heck yeah, do the red car too! Good job guys & Happy birthday, Brent 🎂🎉🎁🎈
Clark bar......yummies!! Kind of a cross between a Heath bar and a Butterfinger. So good.
Mike, it’s not a “Bro-Ham”, it’s a “Brommmm”. Happy Birthday Brent! 🎂
BROO-UM
It's pronounced brome , like home .
@@sherwinhughes8030 It's pronounced brome , like home .
Yes!!!! Do it!!! Give that Challenger maybe last chance to shine !!!!❤
Brougham is a luxury trim package.
Thank you for power washing the vinyl roof the correct way! I get why you do it the other direction typically but this was 100X more satisfying in this instance. Keep up the great work!
I’m older than you guys and really appreciate what you are doing:
Whether it has an engine or not, a fresh wash never hurts, especially if it MOPAR.
Robin Egg Blue and Avocado Green were popular colors in the 70s. The “Power Roof” were upgrades to that package, and it’s pronounced “Bro-m”, rhymes with chrome and the “Young and Restless (not the daytime drama) had the “B” song… “Like bars on a Cadillac Brougham.” My first car was a 1976, Oldsmobile Delta 88, 4dr Brougham (red with vinyl white roof).
Notice how the engine under dash mounted tape deck reads “Monotone” and not stereo.
Happy Birthday! Better Help is great with helping others with their mental health. Contact them and ask them to sponsor.
Looking forward to your “WD Branded” cleaning solutions. Don’t get a shop pet. Feed the strays and keep them outside.
I love watching these old gems come back to life. It is very satisfying watching the years of neglect wash away. Keep up the good work.
Best transformation of the 1972 Charger Brougham ever. Best wishes to the WD Detailers on future details.
Watching you two really makes my day.
"What's a Clark bar" is definitely one of those phrases you never thought you'd hear someone say 😅
In the late 60s and early 1970s, they didn't have 3 point harness.Belts they just had lap belts.
The clips just above the door frame along the headliner are to hold the shoulder strap for the belt. They weren't mandatory as the new cars.Have them you have the option to bring those across and clip them into the lap belt.
The second feature which you had pointed out was actually ACB radio and the plug in was not for a microphone. So to speak, It was considered as a voice transmitter but yes you can say a microphone.
The name you showed on the door card for the SE is the name of the roof package.
That is for the vinyl top that came on the car.
It was not a CB radio. It was a Dict-a-phone (dictation recorder) cassette recorder that Chrysler offered on the high-end trim levels.

The light blue with a white top was a very popular color combination of the day, especially with the white interior. BTW, a solid (metal) roof is usually called a sunroof, and a sliding roof with a glass panel is called a moonroof. FYI, the first "modern" American car to have a sunroof option was the 1960 Thunderbird. The first And the first American production car with an optional electric sunroof was the 1968 Cougar. In 1969, more cars started having the option available. All were installed after the car was built by ASC, which is still in business today. that sure looks like an original factory sunroof to me. That radio is rare! The socket is for an optional microphone. This was a super nice, very loaded car for its day. You guys did your usual great job on this barn find car! I really hope the owner restores this car to its former glory.
My mom was in her first trimester of pregnancy with me when that sticker expired. 🥰
Also, my dad is a Mopar guy; so this has me feeling some sort of warm and fuzzy nostalgia for my days as a young lad in the 1980s. ☺️
Thank you for these super-satisfying videos and the amazing personality you fine gentlemen bring to each and every video. 🙌❤️
Yes, please do the Challenger. Would love to see that baby shine!
The Brougham is for the interior package options and the clips on the headliner above the door are for the front seatbelts.
Absolutely do the Challenger! Would really like to see how clean you get the engine bay without the engine in it. Keep up the good work and keep learning and teaching the newer generations about these cool classics!
YES, do the Challenger.
The tape deck mounted on the console was a cassette player (ask your grandparents) that you could also record cassettes. The 2 black clips above the door is for the shoulder belts (this was before the 3 point belts again ask your grandfather). Did you find a build sheet under the seats? That would be great if you could save it and laminate it. The sunroof was a rare super cool option.
That was a rare optioned Charger in 1972 and well worth restoring. Glad to see it clean up so well.
Keep up the great work.
I thought it was either a cassette player or an old component for a c/b radio. 👍🏼
@@outoftheashesmh I remember when they came out and the local Dodge dealer owner ordered a new Monaco LOADED with every option and it had 2 window stickers. I wish I would have thought of having him make me a copy of the stickers
I'd be happy if they found and preserved the build sheet (s).
and it actually has "RECORD RADIO \ MIC" scribed in the top left corner.
15:48 it's like top of the line for luxury happy birthday Brent
I wouldn't mind seeing the Challenger. That's what we're here for, detailing. The repairs and getting them running again is just a bonus. So yes. CHAL-LEN-GER! CHAL-LEN-GER! CHAL-LEN-GER! 😆
I'd like to see the Challenger done. Happy Birthday Brent!!!!
DO THE DOGE WITH NO ENGINE WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT
Do both of them. Maybe if the guy sees it blinging in the sun, he will get motivated and go ahead and drop an engine in it. Definitely wash the 2nd car too.😊
Yes!!!
HELP HIM!!!
Most, not all, projects never get finished!!
Brougham pronounced Brōhm, is the pinnacle of interiors in many cars. The Clark Bar was my personal favorite peanut butter candy bar as a kid. I am well before your time at 64 now.
Happy birthday Brent.
Also, engine or not, DO THE CAR! DO THE CAR!
❤ very glad to see that camero revived!!
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! Please do the Challenger!!!
Love what you all are doing. Do the other Mopar for sure. You have come such a long way and do think it’s been a minute since you legitimately brought a car back to life like the Ferrari. Not an easy find but you know how to clean a barn find. I know you all can do more and with your new products to come!!!
As a Challenger owner I'd absolutely love to see you refresh that old challenger in the barn.
The pale blue goes well with the white top.:)
NAMI, is a great resource on mental health!
Love you Brent!!!! Happy Birthday! Love your courage and smile!
Broughm trim is a luxury package
I click on your videos and I click on like before I even watch them because I know I will like them as always :)
Happy birthday,well said ❤🎉
That looks & sounds great .. I had a 2002 S10 95% restored & sold it this year to pay off a credit card that my brother used & now he is not talking to me . I'm the one with wheels .🤷♂Keep up that Black Beauty & Thank you ALL for the great videos .
Happy birthday, Brent!!! 🎉
Absolutely clean the Challenger! Nows the best time to clean the engine compartment. Those clips in the headliner are to store the shoulder belts.
Happy birthday what an amazing wish🙏
Absolutely detail the red 1970 Challenger, it is much more inspiring to have it look as good as possible for the owner and no matter what, it is still good content for us ! Also please, you have to follow up on the progress of these being restored and put back on the road.
Yes INDEED ABSOLUTELY 💯! My First car was a 70 Challenger I got NEW in 72! Please 🙏 DO IT!
My favorite style. I grew up around 68-70s as a little kid but I preferred this style with the hidden headlights. I had a 1973 SE with the baby blue and white top too. Fun fact, you can store your anti-freeze and oil in the space between the bumper and radiator.
video starts at 8:20
Thank you so much
Back in the day a moonroof was a glass sunroof as opposed to a steel panel. Nowadays people just call everything a sunroof because they’re almost always glass now. Happy birthday Brent!
I believe the radio with microphone was probably a CB radio popular in the 70's
I was going to say the same thing! They were HUGE in the 70s!!
It was a cassette recorder dict-a-phone (dictation recorder) that Chrysler offered in their high-end trims such as the Brougham cars
Do it do it do it :) 1970 in that colour can't be beat. Your cleaning is great and hopefully this car can be transformed further to working condition.
The Challenger deserves your magic. Do it!
Absolutely! Needs a hellcat motor too! 🙌🏼
Please do the Challenge! The hell with the engine!
Happy Birthday🎉✨🎁🥳
Yes I would love to see you detail the challenger.
ABSOLUTELY, so want to see the Challenger cleaned as well!
Yes!I agreed with all the others!Do the Challenger too next week!
The brougham is the luxury interior. There are bench and bucket seat versions. The little thin pull handles are part of it.
I really enjoy the logistics of moving the cars.
Happy birthday. Your videos help a lot with my Anxiety. It’s refreshing after a long work week and being overly stressed. Thank you guys again .
That makes me sooo happy :)
Bring on the Challenger! I agree, it's the best of the three
I like the 71 up because it was what I grew up with. Started noticing cars at that age. I was born in 1961.
I love watching your videos . My favorite shows are of just dirty gross vehicles as opposed to rusty cars in inoperable condition. Thanks
Yes to the Challenger!!! My favorite Mopar. My high school boyfriend had a 1973 Charger. 69s are my personal favorite.
The things above the doors held the shoulder straps for the seat belts. So if you wanted to use them, you would take it down and attach it to you lap seat belt.
Yes do the challenger. And since there’s no engine you can really deep clean the engine compartment.
Brougham is an interior package. Pillow top seats, power window. More luxurious interior.
The microphone was probably for a cb radio.
The clips above the window are for seatbelts.
Hey Brett. firstly happy birthday!! great message mate, I to have suffered with anxiety and depression for my entire life, at 51 its still a battle. I have twin daughters , one of which has the same thing. you're message was heartfelt and very important. Good man, cheers from New Zealand ❤
*Kiha kaha* this is Maori, the indigenous language of NZ it means *be strong*
Happy birthday buddy, hope you continue a peaceful path. God bless
Definitely would love see the Challenger as well.
Challenger?!? Heck Yeah!!!!!
Love it! Love those old Mapars... and most pronounce it Brome....Like Dome with a B. Brent, Happy Birthday! Thanks for keeping the topic of mental health going. Once it's brought to the surface and spoken out loud, it gets easier from that point on.
The clips on the interior headliner are for shoulder belts storage, in 1972 they were separate from lap belts. The brougham name was very common in the 70’s from all auto manufacturers that indicated a luxury interior trim level. Clark candy bars were quite common back in the day. They were tasty as well!
You can never go wrong with old Mopars. Do the Challenger!
Hey there, keep your head up! Bring all of the barn find please, I'm watching for Kuwait and loving the finds, I hope the owners bring the cars back to life instead of putting back in the caves
I had a '73 Charger SE in high school. It was dark blue with a white vinyl top. Man, I wish I still had that car!
Awesome! Finally a "barn find" found in a barn! Amazing!
Quedó Flama el Charger!!!
Once again, absolutely fantastic job at cleaning up this. In my humble opinion, this car needs to be kept all original. They’re only original once it’s good enough to have fun with just paint the trunk lid to match the rest of the car. And don’t touch the rest it’s not gonna be any more fun after spending countless hours and thousands of dollars making it meant.
This car has all kinds of rare options, and that cassette player was meant for taking dictation as you were driving around. Like some kind of private eye or doctor.
Speaking of, someone with a lot of money bought this car brand new.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m hoping this car finds a good home and doesn’t get ruined.
Happy birthday to the man Brent🎉🎉🎉🎉
That's a yes from me on the challenger. Clean her up ready for a new engine. ✌️
Happy Birthday!! Best wish ever!
Do the challenger, it deserves it and viewers will always learn from your work . Also on the charger, the clips above you were on interior roof is to hold the upper part of the shoulder seat belt.
Love the Baby Blue
man..
Richard sias and the team really made something!
Absolutely do the Challenger! Getting it clean could motivate the owner to get it going!
fantastic work!!! respect
Yes, do the Challenger, too, please!
The super cat tire is pretty rad!
You need to do that Challenger!!!
And seriously get a dog. They are perfect travel companions, trainable and loyal.
