I'm a fan of Squier basses and have two of them in my collection, but I have to say that I wouldn't buy a Squier "unseen" because (like many other brands) you can get a bad one, or you might find one where everything has come together to make a far better instrument than you'd expect to find at that price range. I have an Affinity PJ bass that's probably the best bass I've ever played (it's better than an _expensive_ 1964 instrument that I own) and I feel very lucky to have found it. I only went into the shop to buy a clip-on tuner !
I definitely agree with that they all feel a little different! That’s how it goes doesn’t it, going to the shop for something small and walk out with a bass 😂😂
Squier is better than most and has enough fender to keep you hooked ...plus the 2004 squier affinities are fender voiced ..(means that compared to other heater alternatives theas ones have that kinda high figh tone with slight overdrive )
I think people just think that value is only available in cost . I don't buy fender, or Gibson, I do remove headstock decals, and had had people ask what I'm playing because it sounds great....I tell them, you soon see them reassess their debt for the $3000 guitar they play
Squier and epiphone are good ...epiphone les pauls are among the finest les paul models after gibson you can get ...and I must say guitar techs have told me recently epiphone is making better guitars than hibson right now ...the modern les pauls gibson make are actually designed for prophet. ..(u tube this vid : the les paul that isn't a les paul )
Dude this is sweet! love seeing you branch out in your hobbies!
Thanks! I’m enjoying making videos on different topics!

That’s hilarious 😂 they definitely sound good!
its a hit or miss. i bought a squier hh strat for $200 and a epiphone sg special for $150. the cheaper sg’s build quality was much better the squier
For sure, just playing different squires in guitar stores some are certainly better than others
Squier isn't terrible, but you can still do better from the price, especially from Yamaha (or Rondo Music if you don't mind mail order).

Wow I didn’t know that about epiphone that’s kind of crazy!
