Great video, thanks! I was 10 when this was filmed and used to go to Saltley and Bescot. Only went to Washwood Heath once, probably around this time, but the sidings were just wagons and one random Hastings unit. Wish we'd known about this location!

Glad you enjoyed the video. I used to do a regular delivery to Saltley back then and once my truck was unloaded i would pull in to Washwood Heath and park up for a couple of hours before the long drive home.The fact i was in a lorry they must of thought i was meant to be there. I have some more i filmed there and will have to dig them out for future uploads. All the best, Colin.
