Tip : Underneath shelves place a dispenser, connect the dispenser to a button on the self somewhere. Place paper named as the item on the self inside the dispenser. Whenever the player presses the button, they will get a paper named the item they want. They have to trade in that paper to you with some emeralds, then you give them their item in return. This way it prevents stealing from the store.

U can do it in 1.18 so yea. It's basically the 2x2 piston door but a sculk sensor instead of a button
