Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.
Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories-Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool-are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a "ripperdoc" to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified-Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target's direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted-Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.
Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.

A great thing about this scene is if you're learning to speak Japanese and can understand the formal tones and politeness in the language, Saburo is being a real asshole to you.
At the start he says "Omae wa" instead of "Anata wa". Both are ways to say "you", but Omae Wa is an aggressive, rough and combative way to say it, like you're showing contempt for someone and you want to let them know i.

This game would definitely benefit from seeing more Saburo throughout the story. As well as Yorinobu for that matter. Two really amazing characters set up brilliantly in the beginning and shown brilliantly in the end, yet in between nothing. That is what I want in the future, to see those lines of division blurred as we can see more of them equally throughout.
I wish there was a bit more to be done with the whole Arasaka path. An opportunity to side with Michiko and pull a coup. Or even the ultra crazy possibility of siding with Yorinobu and teaming up with Adam Smasher to purge the other factions of the company.
Considering there are 3 clear factions in Arasaka (Hawk, Dove and Snake (I'm not sure)) then yes, corpo V should have had the faction manipulation aspect in there
A certain action of V attracts the full attention of the emperor himself, who after seeing a certain event asks you meet face to face (an unparalleled honor for the corporats) you climb your way up (crushing Abernathy in the process) and reach the top

Gavin's delivery of "lets get out of here" is incredible. You can really feel how uneasy V is from his interaction with Saburo and with Mikoshi in general.
Mikoshi and Soul Killer could lead Night City into a world not too dissimilar to Altered Carbon.
A pity that you can't return his WW2 dog tags to him if you looted that off of his corpse. Also it's a pity that you can't have a back and forth to him when he brings up how you kidnapped his daughter and plan on killing his son by telling him what you told his daughter, which in turn would have him and V as being even among each other.
Hm interesting how different he is from Jackies Engram.
Either the programming was different to turn Saburo into a self aware Engram with his consciousness intact, or Jackie being dead when they used soulkiller on his body limited what his Engram could say/behave.
Jackie was taken from Victor, then fried, that's at least multiple hours if not days after his death. Soulkiller could only access the fresh memories since his brain was slowly dying out.

Saburo was such a gonk for thinking he achieved immortality. All he did was create a algorithm that copied his personality while the real him rots in the ground like Johnny 'poser' Silverhand.

I’m confused to how saburo arasaka lived so long, I get why in the future but he was actually born in 1919 which is old as hell and I don’t think they had the technology to keep him alive because he would have already been at least 80+ during the 2000s
Its not the same as real world in 2020 they were already super advance. Alt died in 2013 & the chip was her tech, even in 2013 the world of Cyberpunk was super advance. Jhonny was stabbed with a prototype mantis blade, they already had that level of cyberware in 2013.
They already had AV’s and cyberware in the 1990’s (Central American War)
in universe cyberware started popping up in the eighties which is why he looks so old, because he already was when he started using cyberware to halt his aging
Life expectancy can be hella high in Cyberpunk. About ~160 Y/O if you had the money and right implants. Saburo was inside that range (158 years old) and the master of one if not the biggest corp. in existence. The Relic, which was still a prototype was double-way plan - First, he was making plans for his future immortality - either in Yorinobu's body or inside a whole new one, but this wasn't needed in an instant. He probably could have lived maybe 180 years old, just because he is Saburo Arasaka.
Now, let's bear in mind something - Life expectancy for the average American is about 70, and it's stated in game. Why? Because most Americans don't have money now, and the continent is at best for the most a fucking desert. Why? Corpo Wars. Nuclear Wars. Technology. Most of America has receeded in what was like the end of the 1800.
Militech/NUSA are in control of the "civilized" East Coast, but West Coast? Just look outside Night City and you'll understand.
Saburo is like "the finest salmon in the sea" compared to the average joe.

Lol i'm probably the only one that actually really likes Arasaka. I was hoping you could eventually rejoin them and rise through the ranks and reach huge heights in the corporation (Almost similar to Ryujin Corp in Starfield). I even wished you could actually take ownership of it fully, and have side missions, different interactions, and whatnot for it. Loved the idea of owning a huge Japanese megacorporation. I wanted some kind of Arasaka DLC but Idk what kind lol :s

Was there a reason she took V to see saburo? That conversation didn't seem to go anywhere.
Because letting him out of sight is a very bad idea. He can't do any harm having a small talk with Dad but he could ruin everything in an instant if let to his own devices. You just don't let a loose cannon like V to flail around your tower.
