So exciting! Luxurious! Flutes are sublime, and the reverberation is so real! Enjoyed the story almost as much as your playing. 😎 Keep up the good work! 👍🎹
The organ in St Eustache is by Van den Heuvel and was built in 1989. Cavaillé-Coll never built in instrument for this church. He submitted a quote and specification in 1844, but did not get the job. The St. Ouen set sounds gorgeous. The sound of a French organ, particularly a C-C, is just amazing. I'm lucky enough to have played the organs in St. Eustache and St. Clotilde, as well as that in Notre Dame des Champs, which is the church close to C-C's workshop, and was where he worshipped. He was often to be found in the church making changes and adjustments to the organ!
Richard, I've made a note in the description. Yes, this sample set is amazing. I can only imaging what it would be like playing the real thing, or any of the organs you mention. There's just "something" about the sound of a French organ! Thank you again for your correction and your wonderful comment. Seth
Hi Michael, Yes this is a composite. It's the one from Sam Sleath which pulls from multiple free demo organs. His pricing for the composite program is more than reasonable, check it out www.samsleath.com/rouen-cavaill%C3%A9-coll-composite Thanks for listening- Seth
@@Michael_VG I think RIchard has Astrid #1. Love to have that one as well but for me it's a matter of cost. I'm more than happy with Sam's compilation. Do you have one?
@@Michael_VG Nice. There are so many organs to choose from and I enjoy that people like Richard and Paul Fey play different ones, that gives me a chance to hear how they sound 'in action'.
C'est magnifique! Thank you for sharing and I agree about Christmas tunes, can't wait!

Wow that was soo beautiful!!! I've heard bits of that over the years but never fully together that way. Brava! (h)
Glad you enjoyed it. It's so much better on a French organ! Feel free to share the link on FB.
Is this a composite sample set? If so, which St Ouen composite is it?

Yes I thought it might be his. I have his and the one that Richard McVeigh showcased on his channel so I was curious which one you went for. Thanks!
