I'm thinking a computer might be the only good way to play this game, and I'm still lost on if Im wasting my time on offline play, as my int speed is poor where I live. I had no idea where to find this info online and have looked a lot, but skipped over the Wiki site. This was very helpful and telling as to why I keep killing off my characters around level 34 when I beat the first go around. Nightmare, I can hit, hit and hit, and the enemies barely are touched and I grow bored. Thanks. I'll do some work learning some of this and give it another try.

In early Game Gambling is great - even without Uniques. Because, your Enemies are mostly below your Chars Level, resulting is Gambling offering literally Weapons from 1 or 2 Acts further Ahead. Also, you can get exeptionals or Elites. In regards to the chance of an item becoming "Elite". I was rolling to find a pair of mage fists and I bought 5 pairs of "light gauntlets" and they were all Elite. I sold them all and without refreshing the page I bought another 5 and same thing they were all Elite.
This was so helpful, thank you so much. Also, let's say I'm 39 and want to get a Gull, I can't get it by gambling now, right? Since the ilvl of the dagger it's gonna be 34 to 43.
Could you make a tierlist of all skills total? A massive one with every skill from teleport to claws of thunder. You could also make a list of how you would choose to build if you had access to all skills. With synergiers included (guess it rules Blizzard out)
Do char lvl apply to regular shopping aswell? Or is it just acts and difficulty there? Trying to get that Witch Hunter/Cunning +2/3 lightning sentry weapon. So far no extra staffmod, but a few plain WH and Cunnings.
Wish ilvl on items was shown on the items description, that would open up a trade market for Hell Baal/Nilathok/Diablo charms for rerolling! Trading based on a players "word" is risky business... This should be addressed.
Mr Llama sir, I am curious as to what your setup is as you seem to be running very smoothly, I cant seem to get more then 30fps at most (even less in act3) and I'm playing in offline mode(old school modded chars converted) I have an amd ryzen3 and a gtx 970 which should be more then enough to run it at 60fps without breaking a sweat(Shadows of War runs at 60fps and that's much more graphically and cpu intensive then my favorite game of all time)
Your link to affixes is A: different from the one you use in video and B: not existent. I've been looking for a list of easily searchable affixes but havent found one that's up to current standards yet, any tips?
Im not quite clear on one part. You gave the numbers for the chance of an exceptional or elite but is there a min lvl for that or is it possible to gamble an elite at level 1?
Mr Llama if you're reading this, can you tell me where I can optimally gamble (what level, with whom, when) to get the unique dagger Gull? It is ilevel 3
I have a horker with 523% mf and 2030% gf strictly for gambling. I knew most of this in the guide but There were a few thing I learned. Thank you for the guide man !
@@coreybelair4712 I don’t think you understand the horker gf barb build. You don’t kill anything. You strictly scavenge. I guess it could be a waste if you didn’t have 4 other lvl 80+ chars. Found a ist earlier today horking and each run I do nets me stash cap at 2.2 mill, in 5-10 minutes.
In the Gull example, how does it handle the missing Set chance? Since there is no set dagger available at your clvl of 11, Does the extra 1% go to Rare, Magical, or Unique? Also, say I wanted to gamble sojs. Ideally, you'd want to get your clvl to 35. Now if you rolled a unique ring, would you also be rolling against a nagel and manald or are those ilvls too low?
Thank you for the video on gambling. I am confused on one point: if I want to gamble for a Tal Radha Wrappings set item, which has an item level of 26 but a character level requirement of 71, what character level do you use to gamble? 71-75?
Correct me if I'm wrong. Best way to gamble for Shaco is to level up character up to around Shaco item lvl and just go for Cap. If you get unique item it will be Harleqiun Crest because it is possible to get item -5/+4 you character level?

The affixes link says there's no text in the page. Is there an updated link?
It's great that they modified the gamble page so you can refresh, and infinitely get the same item.
Saw this went and got the Gull dagger on my level 14. Great advise!
This was so helpful, thank you so much. Also, let's say I'm 39 and want to get a Gull, I can't get it by gambling now, right? Since the ilvl of the dagger it's gonna be 34 to 43.
Best to get a lvl 11 character to do it. Lowest level to be guaranteed a chance for a gull (gull has ilvl 6), cheapest price.
Could you make a tierlist of all skills total? A massive one with every skill from teleport to claws of thunder. You could also make a list of how you would choose to build if you had access to all skills. With synergiers included (guess it rules Blizzard out)
God bless MrLlamaSC best content for d2 the guy is super cool
The hyperlink for affixes is broken, as the closing parenthesis didn't make it. Thanks for the great overview!
NOTE for heavy gamblers: With Gheed's Fortune and Edge runeword you'll get up to 30% discount while gambling i.e. basicly each 4th item for free!
Hey so I'm new to diablo, how do you get gheeds fortune?
@@joshmartin4338 farming. It is an item, it drops from omonsters.
@@joshmartin4338 I'd farm Hell Andariel, she drops them frequently.
@@rafaelb.m.4756 sweet ill have to do that, I'm currently on nightmare act 5 so not much longer lol
Bro you are a legend! Thank you for all the helpful videos
Do char lvl apply to regular shopping aswell? Or is it just acts and difficulty there?
Trying to get that Witch Hunter/Cunning +2/3 lightning sentry weapon.
So far no extra staffmod, but a few plain WH and Cunnings.
Affixes link is broken. Missing a ) from the end. Thanks for the awesome content MrLlama!
Wish ilvl on items was shown on the items description, that would open up a trade market for Hell Baal/Nilathok/Diablo charms for rerolling! Trading based on a players "word" is risky business... This should be addressed.
What are you using to edit your offline chars? I would love to set up some chars and test out builds and gear.
Mr Llama sir, I am curious as to what your setup is as you seem to be running very smoothly, I cant seem to get more then 30fps at most (even less in act3) and I'm playing in offline mode(old school modded chars converted) I have an amd ryzen3 and a gtx 970 which should be more then enough to run it at 60fps without breaking a sweat(Shadows of War runs at 60fps and that's much more graphically and cpu intensive then my favorite game of all time)
Qns Mr Lama, for skill GC ilvl = 50
Is it better to use a clvl 46 to gamble instead? Higher clvl might have lower odds of getting +skills GC.
I don't think you can gamble charms, do you mean cube reroll ?
10:46 This is true, except for Coronets -.-
For some reason, when you gamble coronets, they sometime swap out for circlet randomly...
Yo i need that cube and the runes behind you where did you get those , its awesome
What is the reason Llama likes to gamble circlets and coronets, but not tiaras or diadems?
You don't have to open and close the gamble screen anymore, just press the "reset"-button or whatvever it's called....
Your link to affixes is A: different from the one you use in video and B: not existent.
I've been looking for a list of easily searchable affixes but havent found one that's up to current standards yet, any tips?
love the new intro
Im not quite clear on one part. You gave the numbers for the chance of an exceptional or elite but is there a min lvl for that or is it possible to gamble an elite at level 1?
Wwhatsup MrLlamaSC, TH-cam here!
Mr Llama if you're reading this, can you tell me where I can optimally gamble (what level, with whom, when) to get the unique dagger Gull? It is ilevel 3
Gull have 6 Ilvl (treasure class), you need to be 10 lvl and you can try to gamble daggers with chance 1 from 2000.
@@mirialheart 6+5 = lvl 11, and what matters is the item level which is indeed 6 for gull
I have a horker with 523% mf and 2030% gf strictly for gambling. I knew most of this in the guide but There were a few thing I learned. Thank you for the guide man !
So basically you have a wasted character
@@coreybelair4712 I don’t think you understand the horker gf barb build. You don’t kill anything. You strictly scavenge. I guess it could be a waste if you didn’t have 4 other lvl 80+ chars. Found a ist earlier today horking and each run I do nets me stash cap at 2.2 mill, in 5-10 minutes.
@@thewizard7099 the new A5 frenzy Merc made horkers alot more efficient been doing in PTR the Merc wrecks face so much
Love this content dude, thank you.
I REALLY like the gamble changes.
