You're absolutely right, NECA did their homework. I rewatched the movie and ran through dozens of its coloured photographs it's accurate..this creature is a masterpiece ! After several decades, creature lovers are finally getting their personal 'Gillman.' Thank you for the detailed review and paint tips.
What a cool figure! Incredible details. I agree with you re: the red lips; looks more like The Floozy from the Black Lagoon with those bright red lips! The green lips look way better.
Great review, I am waiting for this figure . I have a painting commission of the Creature and I want to use it for reference. I can't believe how many reviews don't show the mouth articulation. I am looking forward to the Nosferatu they are doing. I agree about the lips, but I'm okay with them. I do a painted gothic romance horror comic and I love all these monsters too. Once again, great review!
Kudos for taking the time to review the figure and not worrying about being "first" as you said. These monster figures are awesome and deserve to be poured over, compared, and discussed in the same detail that the artists invested in the design and manufacturing of the figure.
