I agree. In spite of the fact that Elvis had human faults and was not perfect, there was something almost supernaturally special about him. Who looks like that? No one! Who else could sing like that? No one, ever! Something very special and different about him.
It's unfair to compare anyone to Elvis as he is in a class by himself. The fact is no one can come close to Elvis 's talent. Elvis had the most amazing voice. So sad that he left us so soon, so young. we all miss him dearly.
I agree. This one, as well as a myriad of his recordings, is far better than the master. Brilliant is definitely a way to describe it. Heart-wrenching is another. Elvis is the prototype example of how much you can achieve in life and how quickly it can all disappear. The King, for sure. No others are worthy of such a title.
Aloisio Filgueiras WELL said! ... Apparantly some lady, Ginger .A. who also published a book, says he was fine those last months? I don,t believe so... sad
fantastic upload great pictures of elvis one of his best underrated performances and songs such a heartfelt rendition of his performance of this song marie xxxp.s. handsomest man ever to walk on earth comment if you agree
This is the first time I've heard this song. But just like all the rest! Such a beautiful voice. Such a beautiful person. So so very passionate and giving human being. Nothing before Elvis and nothing since. !!!!
ELVIS...even with his over night success, his Magnificent GOD given talents, his rapid rise to fame and fortune, it never came easy for ELVIS, he wasn't born into wealth. He never forgot where he started from, he was born determined to grow up to make life better for his family, especially for his mother. He did, before his mother passed, she was able to experience and enjoy a easier Life, for a very short time. That was always his little boy dream for his Mama, he made It come True. Everything else, didn't matter. ELVIS was a Sweet Southern boy, a Angel 😇 He used his fame and fortune to help anyone in need, he was always a giver, he once told, he wished everyone could be Blessed, and as fortunate as he was. He gave GOD, all the credit and praises for the life he had been given. Bless Your♥️ and SOUL 🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️♥️✝️♾️
Yes, you can see the sadness in his eyes, he totally blamed his self for Pricilla leaving with Lisa, the guys said he was never the same... I don't know how she could do that to him, I don't think she knew the pain she would put Elvis through nor Lisa, surely she wouldn't have done it if she knew how much it would bring him down to his knees, he really was crushed, I think maybe that's why she does all she can with Graceland and the Guesthouse Inn, I feel like she's hurting too, nobody could love her like they loved one another, I guess she thought she had more time to make things right later, and she just tries to stay busy, but Lisa is the one hurting the most right now I feel sorry for both of them and the grand kids, but they're doing the best they can with out such a special loving man like Elvis to help them, Lisa said she sometimes goes upstairs and into his office and just sits there thinking about her Daddy and praying for him to help her, she won't ever get over the day he died, I really like the way Lisa sings I hope the best for all his family left behind. After 41 yrs they are both still hurting it's sad but true, they both need him and his love and strength and encouragement 💙😎⚡✝️🕊️💫💕♥️🦅🇺🇸
Another one pulled from the depths of his soul. He carried such a heavy cross from the time of his birth with its "guilt of survival priority" following the still birth of Jesse Garon. It's why he gave and gave throughout his life. Even as a little boy in Tupelo. When he was about 3 he was given his first gift, a tricycle. He LOVED it, but when he saw an equally poor child who looked longingly at it, Elvis gave him the trike. That's just the way he was, instinctually.
Things wasnt that easy because he was a very giving soul who cared for people kept alot inside he. was a man under a lot of pressure and felt he only had god his mom and messed like Linda Thompson said Elvis told her that yes my fan may love but its not a personal kind of love. That song he always sung Love me that song had a message in it to be loved you could hear it in his voice. Very touching. So much compassion in his singing. Espe his gospel songs. I also loved to hear him sing the green green grass of home. Family meant a lot to Elvis. But. He also had bills to pay. A payroll of a lot of people. Supporting a lot of people. A man is only human like Elvis said I'm not that road out there I'm cut I bleed I have feelings. Noboby but god knows me ho lonely. I get. I have no need for all this. I'm leaving. And he did god called him home. Sandra miller
The way he performs this version is simply beautiful - words can't describe. Excellent photo choices. Thanks for uploading and sharing. Just when I think I've heard the best version of a song from the jungle room sessions I end of hearing yet another one that's just over the top. Some critics say he wasn't in the best vocal condition at this time ? They've missed it - these recordings are some of the very best Elvis in terms of emotional delivery.
This FTDcd is one of the best cds to come out in the last 5 years. To all Elvis fans, check out your nearest fan club, they are the only ones who sell FTDs, there are over 100 now, and they are amazing. It is a collectors label under BMG/Sony and they release Elvis stuff you cant get anywhere else ( except mayby on illegal bootlegs).
brenda shoopman I agree 100% Parker was his biggest mistake Priscilla was his second it was Ann Margret who really love him a years later I believe he regretted leaving Ann a breaking her heart. But he knew he lost her to Roger Smith I believe the song he's sing take good care of her was about Ann marrying Roger Smith I don't believe Ann or Elvis ever stop loving each other but elvisto loved Priscilla deeply a Lisa a wanted them back he missed being w his family he knew he screwed up a Priscilla never gave him another chance if she did he might still be here who really knows what happened to Elvis

Andrew Lloyd Webber somehow snuck this in to Presley's 'Jungle Room' session in 1976. Lloyd Webber had admired Presley all through the years (wanting him to sing on his 'JC Superstar' opus!?! Imagine Elvis in the lead!!! Again, Elvis in the 70's tried his best to cut through the Colonel & RCA's dubious mistreatment of his personal artistic needs. This is one of Presley's odd (& beautiful) additions to his catalogue... A real treasure!
The Colonel destroyed him. He was good for him in the beginning but not in the last years. Interesting that Andrew Lloyd Webber wanted hin Jesus Christ Superstar. And he should have starred in the remake Barbra Streisand made of "A Star is Born".
I agree. In spite of the fact that Elvis had human faults and was not perfect, there was something almost supernaturally special about him. Who looks like that? No one! Who else could sing like that? No one, ever! Something very special and different about him.

Having his daughter, made him very happy.
Probably, the happiest day of his life.❤️❤️

It's so sad cause Elvis was much more then most people saw him, he was just a human, and a really special one. He wasn't just a rock star.
