What the hell guys. Elvis' voice is a given but that female voice just blew me away. At my ripe old age thought I'd heard them all. Quickly found out it was a woman I'd never heard of ,Timi Yuro. Was no surprise to read that her most famous fan was of course Elvis. He sure knew a good voice when he heard it. She has to be one of the most underrated singers ever, she had a short career as well as life... Hang on I've just read you saying the singer is Duffy, well it sure sounds like Yuro and that is a huge compliment.

What the hell guys. Elvis' voice is a given but that female voice just blew me away. At my ripe old age thought I'd heard them all. Quickly found out it was a woman I'd never heard of ,Timi Yuro. Was no surprise to read that her most famous fan was of course Elvis. He sure knew a good voice when he heard it. She has to be one of the most underrated singers ever, she had a short career as well as life... Hang on I've just read you saying the singer is Duffy, well it sure sounds like Yuro and that is a huge compliment.
The version Scotty used is Duffy based on the Timi Yuro version it’s from the movie legend, she played her in the movie. Both incredible versions !

When Elvis felt it, without a shadow of a doubt the audience felt it too, such was his ability to allow the listener to accompany him to that place within his inner soul that moved him deeply.
For those few minutes, he could close his eyes from.those bright glaring lights, shut out everything around him and feel the song way down deep and in doing so bring those lyrics to life, giving them a purpose and a meaning.
