Christina was diagnosed with Graves' disease in 2006 and in 2011 after undergoing radioactive iodine for her over-active thryoid, she developed thyroid eye disease. Her eyes began to bulge, they were extremely dry and painful, and she didn't look or feel like herself anymore. After a lot of research, she found Dr. Douglas and underwent customized orbital decompression. Today, she is 5 years post-op and looking and feeling great!

I have throid eye disease for 2 years now due to graves disease. I wish i can get back my eyes to normal again. 😢
I don't have contacts, but this sounds exactly how my Graves started.
Wish I can get better, as I'm very hard on myself.
But its true, one loses ones self-esteem.
Your videos make me believe that one day my eyes shall return to the way it was before.

I’m in the same boat as you!! I wear my glasses everywhere.. even for work and I just hate when people have the nerves to asks “why do you wear sunglasses” and I’m just there like um just because or sometimes I just keep it simple and tell them I’m sick from my eyes 👀 it sucks tbh
I'm struggling to understand why all doctors don't have the knowledge, information and ability to treat their patients with this method. Do doctors not share their treatment methods, surely once someone finds a successful way to treat a condition it should be shared to all medical practitioners. Someone please explain this to me.

I have same situation with her. I have this low self esteem due to my situation like bulging eyes. I have been diagnosed since 2006 and had my RAI therapy as well. Its hard for me to go on a date because I am afraid to be bully. How can I manage this kind of situation since we don’t have a orbital specialist in our country. Hope you can help me too.
