How I Wash My LeMieux Numnahs | Emmy Eventing

- So this is how I clean my numnahs ! This is not the ‘only’ way or the ‘best’ way just my way of doing it and I thought I would share my method as you guys have requested it a lot .
My name is Emmy and love to do XCountry, Dressage and showjumping so I guess that why it’s eventing!
I make videos all about my horse and the fun times I spend with him and my friends. I also do lots of vlogs, yours, tack hauls and horse care videos - as you can never stop learning :)
Sparky~ 15.1hh bay Irish sports horse . He loves to jump but his favourite it definitely xcountry ! We are working on him dressage as you will see through my videos .

That's a great way to clean them I got my first lemieux saddle pad and I'm too scared to use it for it to get dirty Haha

I always find washing your saddle pad in a washing machine creases it and bends it. This is a great way to wash them, I’ll definitely be trying it out! X

I put mine in the washing machine for a 30 minute cycle for the pre wash as I just got them, however they are drying outside on our yard gate 😂 but I think I’ll hand wash them in the future

How much does the colour fade when washing? I have a darker coloured saddle pad (Rioja) and I am scared of it going from red to pink.

My mum doesnt let me use the washing machine and i also wash by hand!
It does a better job I think !

i have a "loire" one and i was just wondering of you'd still do it the same way regardless of material
love this tutorial! what would you do if you don’t have a radiator but it’s cold outside?
I would hang it up on a clothes dryer or over a chair works too !

What can you do for a Loire? Is it the same?
I usually do the same thing with my Loire type saddle pad xx
can you use mane n tail horse shampoo
Shannon Abel I believe Any shampoo really works. It dosent matter if it's for horses or not.
