Can you tell us exactly what soap you are using in this video??

Do you use soap when the pad is in the washing machine?

How do you suggest to clean white jodphurs that have black boot polish stains?

How often do you wash your pads? After every ride? 🙂

Hi Brittany! My competition pad I do wash after every compétition. Even if I try to keep it as clean as possible in competitions it always gets pretty dirty... what an idea to have to use white pads for dressage 😅
As for the ones I use for schooling I must confess that I watch them only when there's just no way that i can put them back on my horse 😁 and those go directly on the machine without scrubbing them before....

Ah! Thank you for you reply!! I also agree on the topic of colors with horses! White.... really?! Surely black is the more sensible choice! 😅 I just invested in some really nice European pads and while they are not white and not for shoes I do want to take good care of them, so I think I’ll be using your technique on those as well!

Maybe what you could do with the colored ones so that it doesn't take so much time is to just prewash them with the soap and just using your hands before putting them on the machine? No brush and no soak? You could try that? 🙂
