- I built this little rundown diner/service station combo in place of the Strangerville Bar! Its listed as generic, so use it for story telling, or run a really tiny restaurant lol

Wolfxdreamer - We probably don’t have either of the packs you used for this build, so most likely not downloading it - great build, though.
Aw so sorry to hear that! I didn’t have a lot of packs for a really long time. Over time I bought a pack here and there when I could afford it. I was luckily able to get a few during the Black Friday sale, including strangerville which id wanted for years.
@@wolfxdreamer6860 No worries, there are just some that don't interest us. But it's lovely of you to suggest waiting for the Black Friday sale, because that's actually a really good tip. That's what we usually do if there's a pack we think might be interesting.
Last time we got the one for Sulani, the 'Island Living' pack. The gameplay isn't very interesting - but having a beach-themed world is a nice change and some of the build/buy items are useful and cute in some builds. For example, recent episode was the Pisces caravan in Zodiac Park, and the sliding doors ended up being great for that build.
What did you think of the 'Strangerville' pack after you got it and were able to play with it. We've been looking at that pack for some time, but always end up skipping it when it's actually on sale.
The thing is we really like the build/buy items, but don't want the gameplay with all the npcs twitching around all over the place, that would probably get distracting very quickly. The CAS might have some nice things, but there are cc items that work just as well. But for build/buy it'd be awesome for building like dystopian worlds, zombie apocalypse, that kind of theme.

@@FiresideSims Totally understandable. I won’t be buying most of the kits because I find enough interesting and cute CC that I love to use, so I don’t really see much of a point in buying the kits with items I don’t really care for anyway. I still buy some though cause they have unique stuff.
But at the same time, I want to own most if not all the expansions and game/stuff packs because since I upload my builds and list the Cc for people to download, I like to use as much actual game items as possible, before going in and filling gaps with CC. I think it makes it more accessible and worth it for people that don’t or can’t use CC.
As for the gameplay, I haven’t even tried the strangerville gameplay yet! I bought a few packs during the last sale and so far have only used them for the build/buy/debug items lol. Although I don’t think all the paranoid twitchy sims would bother me much lol I find it funny! But I have seen a lot of people complain about being forced to play the strangerville storyline, so that kinda sucks. But at some point I will definitely be giving it a try cause I do like that alien/conspiracy stuff lol.
