  • Stockton Beach/Dunes is part of Worimi Conservation Lands at NSW/Australia. It features a fascinating little desert with dunes that open up to around 40 kilometres of beach front accessible by 4WD vehicles. It also features a tiny "tin city" village where original Mad Max movie was recorded.
Whilst visiting this beautiful landscape, I tried to imagine what it would be like surviving in the desert, so I ventured within the dunes loosing the sight of the beach, cars and people, and spent a little time there on my own. It is quite daunting being surrounded by so much sand and hot sun without access to water and civilisation. Whilst being there I also recorded this short film. Yes, this movie is quite pointless, but nevertheless I used it to capture the essence of this landscape.

Haha.. this is torture for someone who loves ice. You should have gone to Mt Koziosko there is snow there even in summer haha. Did you get to use the little campervan you built?
