When that started up I could smell the two stroke oil. Sights and sounds from my childhood and early youth. I cut my spannering teeth on Villiers engined bikes, like many I suppose.
As the advert said for the Francis Barnett bikes "Built Like A Bridge" which referred to the frame construction.Very nice Falcon but is it a Villiers engine or AMC ?

Villiers. The AMC engines weren't very good at all......
I had one and lost the spark plug cap so i used a hair clip. It cane off and hit my leg at max revs. Nearly broke my arms
