Very good talk! And the purspose is woth all our effords. But as its written in the title: "multinational" is just another term for "tax-avoiding" and explotaition of different juristictions. Britains economy is largely based in the financial sector, because Industry and agriculture are diminished and have none influence on the political decisions and regulations anymore. But the financial sector does or already took over the government. As long as britain/city of london and their (former?) offshore "colonies" remain to be the biggest tax heavens on the globe, nothing in the financial system will change tho. Maybe an oxford professor can explain it more in detail? ;)
