I didn't watch the entire trial from the beginning, but I watched most of it. But it bothers me so much that she blamed the murder on her kids. Oh, & there's also a 48 Hours episode where a husband was shot multiple times in the shower. The wife in that case also accused her son.

@@Moira-v8e The second tragedy was blaming and implicating her innocent grieving sons, and the misguided people believing an obvious liar. Melody lied to law enforcement from the time they arrived. “Ma’am, do you have any other phones?” Melody; No. “Ma’am your top drawer is full of Straight Talk cards” Melody; “Oh, those were for my mother. She lives in a nursing home” Then she lied and said poor Sherry gave her the phone a long time ago - “But I don’t have it anymore”! She lied repeatedly. Chris, Scott and Emily told the truth from the start because they knew their Mother was capable of committing this murder.

Scot is not responsible for the destruction of that family, Melody is responsible, she disrespected her husband on countless occasions, she took her lovers to dinners and family events to humiliate and denigrate her husband and the father of her children, she was angry because her husband was helping her children financially, and she only wanted the money for herself. She did not want to pay for the cremation of her husband, whom she hated with all her soul.

      WOW, people don’t pay attention!!!
Then on a phone call, she told him when Rusty asked if she knows who did this” she said; well, I can tell you this, that body was not suppose to be burned that bad”, Rusty said what’s that mean…
Go back and list to everything with Rusty. He told on her because he was terrified he would get arrested for something he didn’t do, he was scared to death, so he spilled the beans on her!

Their 58 year old father was at the peak of his successful career. His decision as to how much of his earnings went where fully justified after his wife withdrew a fortune from their joint account to give to her lover(s). He bought the farm to keep her 'happy'
To suggest one of his children did the evil deed is plain ridiculous, their father was accumulating higher wealth each and every month.
It's her, his benificiary wife, that would have been a murder target, not the goose who laid the golden eggs!
If he were widowed he would have sold that farm, at a profit, then moved into a town house, that he'd have preferred.
As it is the farm sold at less than half its previous book value, a large financial loss that would never have happened if it were matricide.
Melody now has plenty time to reminisce all her lies, deeds and hedonism. The fit looking male neighbor is going to miss all that texting and helping her out. The immature Rusty is probably off dating again, hope it's not someone else's wife, and Martha Jane's new last will and testament's black ink is dry.

These are intelligent people, but they’re missing basic logic. It noblonger matters who or how she got Gary in the burn pile. The jury said that. She could have shot him right by the burn pile or he staggered outside where she finished him off. Besides, the tons of evidence lead to Melody

Get a grip attorney Michael. Who said she lifted Gary and carried him to the burn pile? She shot him in the house, wounding him, and lead him to the burn pile at gun point. Rolled him in. Simple as that. She didn't want to kill him in the basement because she couldn't physically get him to the burn pile which was her plan all along. There are more angles that that. Surprised you don't see that.

Its so sad to see her children devastated but I think she does,nt care. She only feel sorry for herself. The verdict in my opinion is right with all the evidence pointing at her. This is justice so thanks to the jurors
