- @OldElPaso has partnered with @pillsbury to make Taco Pizza Pockets. Is this the collab we needed, or a total bomb?

They are delicous in the air fryer!
Laughing out loud while watching this 😂 . So much said too I agree with. Great review, I've actually been wanting to try these I'll have to look out for them next time..
You sound like someone who understands the incredible culinary perfection that is the pizza pop
@@ThatsRank haha yes
I’ll give those ones a try. I agree with microwaving them. They are good from the oven, but I don’t want to wait that long for some trashy drunk food!
Right? You’re gonna black out while waiting and set the house on fire
I picked up some of those floppy, leaky mittens of disappointment when we were in Winnipeg. 🤣 Couldn't find the taco flavor, so I got pepperoni and bacon. Looking forward to trying it. Maybe I'll make one in the microwave and one in the oven. 😁 I actually just finished editing my Old El Paso Twists video which I apparently filmed last year. 🤣 I actually liked the cheese ones and the cinnamon, but the ranch was TERRIBLE. They have a weird texture, too, which is not easy to adjust to. 😁
The texture is what killed me on those Twists. I'm looking forward to you discovering the beauty of the Pizza Pop. Don't break my heart.
I wonder if you could deepfry them like a panzerotti
My concern with deep frying them would be all the oil spitting due to the ice on them and potentially splitting open - but I’d still give it a shot. I like the cut of your jib.
@@ThatsRank I hear you and for sure don't blame you, I used to work at my parents restaurant and scared myself with the deep-frying more than a few times. Anyway if you are up for trying it what I would do is (and I know they say cook from frozen but) thaw it in the fridge before attempting to deep-fry that way you won't run the right of oil overflow, in my opinion it would be the same or close too as making them fresh and deep frying them 😀
God have I never even THOUGHT of putting those in the oven.... you want that doughy bready pizza stuffed thing.
and yeah you want to wait 3 minutes to get back to the animu you are watching duh.... It aint no lasagna.
I agree, but there are some strange people that walk among us
Id buy those!
I literally just seen these at no frills but dragging foot on trying them. I miss the old no name pizza pouches from no frills huge boxes cheap and they were the round ones and super full of pizza stuffs
Lately a lot of no name foods, quality have gone way down hill . Now a days i only buy no name spices
@@jionnigreco1969 I agree I accidentally bought a family pack of Walmart brand hot dogs (there is just me and my daughter) and we had never tried them most recent reviews said they had changed but older reviews said good things we tried them and the dog wouldn't eat em... back to paying out the butt for Red hots, but I'm also finding places like No Frills are removing ALOT of their no name products
@@jionnigreco1969 I also do alot of shopping for things like spices at the dollar tree
Yeah, I don’t mess around with low grade meat, even with inflation where it’s at. One of my work-arounds is Too Good To Go, and get the mystery meat bags from Metro. I’ve never been disappointed.
@@ThatsRank I never catch them the bags are always gone before I get to them. I have only ever in the entire time of using the app got 1 bag and I'm always up for trying something just for sake of experience so I got it and currently don't have a car but by the time it was done I spent about $25 from cab to the bag and all I got was 2 jumbo slices of dried out pizza from Paradiso 👅👎🏽
Oven is waste of food.
My father in law used to ban us from turning it on in the summer time.
Frank's pizza pops were the best
That I agree with. Those are the absolute top of the top.
Never heard of those brand but No frills used to have their no name brand ones they were good and FULL of ingredients
@@beansmama8914 there seasonal
I'd try it in a air frier
Air frier is perfect for crispy, I like to switch between the air frier and the microwave. The oven is indeed crazy.
I’ve since done it. It’s still a little slow, but it makes way more sense than the oven.
I like them better soft and doughy from the microwave compared to baked and dry from the oven.
Ahhh, a person of culture.
