I remember that Epic did the sawn-off real dirty in this game.
It was unfun to fight against, sure - but they should have tightened the spread to 1.5x the Gnasher, kept the range, and sped up the reloads a little bit.
Still strong against Gnash and weak against rifles, but not impossible to avoid.

Ah yes gear 1 to 3 were the good ol days. The rest is good not great. Mostly because the newer ones seems to be making them water downed version of gears. 1 to 3 were the final dish and the rest are leftovers. Crumbs that doesnt come close to its peak.

Back when Epic were in charge and were actually trying to make the Gnasher the weapon it was meant to be.
You know, as opposed to just a crutch for people who can't track worth shit.

In Gears Of War 4 it was still pretty good and had active reload, just like the gnasher. In Gears 5 it's pretty nerfly, too much, you can empty a charger at someone at an average distance and you won't even take it down.

I remember getting the impossible weapon skins from the campaign it took me a month, i my brother got into gears 4 when it came out, he never got to experience gow3 multi-player at its peak, but I wanna take him into the insane campaign and see him grow Grey hairs 😘
