Crime exists in many diverse forms worldwide and the lawmakers of every country have their own system to curb this menace, but sadly, most of the countries that execute people are deluded by god fear and execute offenders based on their religious scriptures.The rules and laws are amended according to the prevailing social conditions and this depends on the type of government, say, by Democratic, Monarchy, Dictatorship or Military. Genocide is regarded as the most notorious activity no matter whichever motives or reasons the offender has, it could be really diverse, property or financial disputes, personal animosity, familial grudge, revenge and hatred, infidelity or mental instability. It's very dreadful to think that I've lived in a country where Hanging, Beheading, Stoning, and Firing were chosen at random to execute offenders. It's quite heartening that a few advanced nations like Australia, and most Scandinavian nations have abolished death sentence as they consider this to be completely inhuman and outdated stature. The legal experts of these countries do recommend life imprisonment as an alternate. Capital punishment is uncivilised.

Capital punishment shouldn't be a part of a civilized society. State sponsered killing is bad and it shouldn't be celebrated.
