THIS is the hard hitting journalism I've begged for since this movie was made. You, sir, are a scholar. I'm also drunk as shit right now watching Cool As Ice. Hey, I'm just glad you did the work you did. You are the man, sir!
Hahaha. Thank you so much for the kind words. I just saw this film for the first time earlier this year on Rifftrax. If you have not seen the Rifftrax version, I highly recommend it for some great laughs!!!
@@timharris2982 yeah man. I remember when it came out. I was laughing at my lil brother for liking it. He loved Vanilla Ice. I stumbled across the Rifftrax version of this film a few years ago and it was so hillarious It is simply brilliant!!! I love this film now.
Awesome to see these locations great video. I'm working on a Cool as Ice retrospective and came across your channel. Looking forward see more videos dude!
@@2steaksandwiches665 i met Kristen Minter a few weeks ago. She told me that a lot of fans were always around during filming to meet and get Vanilla Ice’s autograph.
@@Phanolars that’s awesome. I can’t remember why I didn’t go, but I do remember that it was a big deal in a town where nothing happened. This was before the Internet so when someone told me the Vanilla Ice was filming in the neighborhood I didn’t believe them.
@@Phanolars if you meant snack shack…no clue on snack shack. Highly unlikely it’s Glendora because I would’ve recognized it. It looks old-school and we didn’t really have community pools because it was a wealthy enough area many people had pools. But a lot of those cities in the San Gabriel Valley and the San Fernando Valley were pretty similar. I had to Google sugar shack. No clue. Never heard about that in local lore
Thanks Stan. I dont have any info on the sugar shack location. I would be willing to bet that its in or around Glendora, because everything else is close and walking distance. The day i was there i ubered over, and didnt have much time to investigate anything else.

Hi do you know where the desert location was, where both of them are on the bike?
Im sorry I do not. I also am still unsure of the Sugar Shack location as well. If anyone seeing this happens to know, please let us know. Thank you!
Drop that zero and get with the hero
I was in fifth grade and live in Glendora at this time. This was a big deal.

@@Phanolars I grew up in Glendora. Cool as ice was filmed there.
My favorite line drop that zero and get with the hero. Also he has an artist called the greatness onhis label
There was a biology teacher at UC Riverside that had the coupe version. I always thought it was cool. Circa 2000.
I’m watching this movie as we speak! lol. I rented it for 3.99. On tubi. I used to rent it every weekend in 93 (3rd grade) 😂
