    Will never stop admiring your family. It reminds me of my family when we fish for seabass, porgy, blackfish and fluke. Definitely going to cut down on fish maybe due to mercury in the fish but for sure cut out all the fast food and junk. Exercise is the most important medicine! dropped 30 pounds since april!

    In the Hampton Roads/ Tidewater region of Virginia those are called Ribbon Fish. They are oftentimes caught at night when we're fishing for Specks & Puppies. They are a nuisance always cutting the tails off soft plastic lures. They are usually thrown back.

      Reminds me of a meal I had in Tokyo - fresh eel fried in a tempura batter. Just to die for. But only take as much as you know you can eat right then and there, because after maybe 45 minutes it starts getting fishy.

    • @mmacionk2
      @mmacionk2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luminous lures are awesome for ribbon fish, in my country people fish them mostly with cut bait, but often the anglers put a chemical light attached to the rig near the bait for attract them

      They use Zelinsky for one purpose to get rid of dissatisfied people and the government is aimed and made to solve economic problems by setting up a war and Ukraine another picture to help to get back in power and let the war get rid of pensioners and all debts and unnecessary people once again gets rid of problems, and we people interfere with the rich and incumbent president to manage the war. The president and neither side went to the ceasefire and it means that the genocide in two points was organized, the war helps the economy in the West and was quoted in a Russian newspaper. People have become dumber and do not understand what is happening. And the authorities do not change that they brought to genocide not guilty neither one side nor the other. Media say one thing, victims say another, and presidents do not want to hear another. They want to block the world from others, block TH-cam and continue to gossip about what is good and what is bad, that power, that we achieved this genocide by the hands of the West at the expense of the president , we did not think and no one thought, and do not want to think only lives are wasted when there is no logic of war and everyone is to blame. Let's change everything and stop touching Russia and become a genocide, it helped in the plan of natural resources ❤❤❤❤❤

    More accurately known as a Cutlassfish, Ribbonfish, as suggested by others, is technically a different fish.

    • @uzi1951
      @uzi1951 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Atlantic cutlassfish are sometimes eaten by humans but should not be consumed in large quantities because they contain high levels of mercury.

    • @kevinchristensen84
      @kevinchristensen84 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ALL predatory fish have some mercury, and the higher on the food chain, the more mercury they have. Even in freshwater, if you're fishing in a river that originates in Canada, you need to watch your intake. You know the town in Colorado, called Golden? They called it that not because they found gold, but because they use mercury to separate the gold from the mineral matrix it's in; the reaction turns the water GOLDEN when they dump it in the river. The US doesn't do that anymore; we have the EPA now, but Canada looks the other way because the gold mining company has SOOOOO much money.
