just saw your video on my homepage, and i gotta say i love what you're doing man, because its crystal clear that you care about it. i'm sorry to hear the new landlord is such a jackass, and I hope that wherever you end up it works out for you. agingwheels is making it work, and i bet you can, too.
I am sincer4ly sorry that you are on a stretch of bad road. and there will be more like you who will be losing. I wish you luck and some happiness in the future. good luck brother.
When you buy a property with tenants, you inherit that lease agreement signed with the old landlord. That means you can’t change the lease terms or rent prices, or kick out the inherited tenant (at least not until the lease comes up for renewal). The new owner will not be able to immediately remove the tenant after the purchase without going through a formal eviction process. I would lawyer up. Edit: here’s a basic video explaining it. Obviously commercial properties are different and vary by State. I would 100% find a good real estate lawyer that you can talk to. One week and then two months just doesn’t seem right. th-cam.com/video/SwIbqZmopaI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rFLATvJ3OJg9eCT9 th-cam.com/users/shortszxSk8rHM3ns?si=8iA1yO7TaYuLEJbK
@@ViTALMaTThews Thanks for those resources. You would not believe how directly you hit the nail on the head, given what the landlord did just today. I’ve contacted an attorney. Which feels ridiculous because I’m just trying to go about my business here. I’m not sure why this guy can’t just be reasonable.
@@justindake my guess is that he just thinks that he can get more rent for the space than what you are paying and is just using the story that he wants to use the warehouse for personal use as a way to make you not ask questions. You probably won’t be able to keep the space in the end, but contacting an attorney should definitely get you some more time to figure out what you are going to do and potentially will help with relocation fees. At the end of the day, you should be able to, at the very least, be able to find some rural land and store your cars in a field. Best of luck.
Sorry to hear this, man! I hope you get more time, but stay focused on getting it moved. Probably best to not expect anything from the new owner, but do see if you can get some pro advice. It's hard to have to take stock on your collection (I'm guessing you will have to, cause I assume you don't have a 2nd stash house to store all of this). I hope you can manage to see the good in this. But boy, does it suck. Take care, and reach out if you want to talk (Euro) cars or life. all the best man.
You know I collect vehicles Jeeps and Corvettes and a few others. 1 thing I always had in my Possession was a Garage and Property that was mine. Just throwing that out there.
That seems to be the smartest thing to do. You have an appreciating investment and nobody can raise your rent or evict you or whatnot. I’ve been talking with real estate agents and such, maybe I can get some land and start building.
@@brimanco thanks, hopefully so. I think I’m getting close to having a space nailed down. Something temporary anyway. Never late on rent, not once. He just wants the space for himself.
You are going bald. You need to get rid of the excess that IS pulling at the roots. In 5 years, you will look like Hul Hogan if you don't do something about it. Just a warning. I have been there.
Oh my .. take your own advice and move along yourself. He's telling a story .. not entering your whose stoic emotional:cock is harder than an ancient Greek statue contest ..

Change is always good mate. Plus this will force you to take stock of all the stuff and refocus on what you want. We're rooting for you!

It's a shame that the Landlord is being that way! Hopefully U can find a replacement spot? Were U ever late on rent?
