Okay, commenting quite late because I wanted to try it out first and then let you all know my thoughts regarding this mask. Today is the third time I used this mask ( except lemon ) and I'm absolutely loving the results. It makes my hair so soft and keeps it that way for almost 4-5 days and it's really surprising as I live in an extreme humid area in India and it's monsoon on top of that so automatically my hair lacks lusture and becomes frizzy in a day or two after shampooing my hair. This mask is a hundred percent YES from my end.

I’ve used this mask twice and it’s the best. I use other expensive treatment products (olaplex, etc) and they leave my hair soft but this mask leave my hair soft, light and SHINEY! I can’t believe the shine. I’ve never really been a DIY beauty girl but I’m sold on this 100%.

Tips If your hair is extremely dry and damaged, don't use egg white just use the yolk.Also, avoid using lemon juice as it tends to dry the hair.For mayonnaise, pick the one that is specially designed for hair, not the regular one that we use on bread.The regular mayonnaise has something in it which makes hair more rough ( personal experience).At the end wash it with mild shampoo.
@@romasplace1the acid is meant to bring the ph down, which is what the hair needs. It’s only drying on high concentrations. It also helps the oils penetrate the hair cuticle better. Use apple cider vinegar if you prefer. The mayo really isn’t necessary imo everything in it’s already in the mask. If anything, it probably just helps emulsify and bring the ingredients together better.

My husband from New Delhi moved here to Utah and the dryness makes him have flakes every day! His family told him to use Greek yogurt on his scalp, but it didn't really fix the issue. Result! The application drove me crazy but the result drove me crazier! There are no residues left in my hair, my hair usually tend to soften up a day or two after I've washed them but this time they are super smooth right after drying and my lustre was dead before applying this, but now they seem sooo shiny! They're a bit frizzy though but hopefully they'll soften up. (I ADDED 2 MORE INGREDIENTS: OLIVE OIL AND VITAMIN E CAPSULE)

Yeah it worked amazingly. I had like really greasy hair and when i tried it, it was instantly softer and didnt get greasy, almost at all, and it does last long

This is a pretty good mask and made my hair softer. But it didn't make any visible changes to my hair. The smell of mayonnaise was hard to get rid of even though I put a few drops of essential oil in the mixture. Will try this again after a few weeks to see if it makes any difference.

Same for me, I always make my recipe with coconut oil and it is the only mask that gives me straight, shiney, sparkly, fresh hair.
I do have a question. So wouldn’t you hair be stinky or smell vaguely of the foods? I’m asking because mayo doesn’t seem like a yummy kind of smell

Start using a sulfate free shampoo and your frizz will disappear. Love beauty and planet makes a great one and it’s cheap

Darling, Your hair might actually be curly. Try the curly girl method.
I used this mask with addition of castor oil and minus the mayonnaise. It did create a soft texture. Thanks for the recipe.

The best hair mask I ever tried .. my hair was being bit worst like dry and frizzy . it made my hair soft and shiner frizz has been reduces .. it works amazing.. I hope friz will go off if we use on a regular basis ❤️

Smitha, thank you for this video! I can't wait to try this. Also could you please make a scalp mask or remedy for dry scalp? My husband from New Delhi moved here to Utah and the dryness makes him have flakes every day! His family told him to use Greek yogurt on his scalp, but it didn't really fix the issue. It is not dandruff it is just dry and flakey.

So I tried it & was amazed by its results. My hair has become frizz free, shinier & I couldn't be more happier. Also my hair seems more straight than earlier (PS: My hair is Wavy). Though I don't know how long does its effect last as it's been just 2 days since I tried it but it does feel better than hairspa! People who like the Cysteine effect will surely love this! The application drove me crazy but the result drove me crazier! There are no residues left in my hair, my hair usually tend to soften up a day or two after I've washed them but this time they are super smooth right after drying and my lustre was dead before applying this, but now they seem sooo shiny!
They're a bit frizzy though but hopefully they'll soften up.
(I ADDED 2 MORE INGREDIENTS: OLIVE OIL AND VITAMIN E CAPSULE)

@@imnotkidding6768 I have the same so what I did was, I kept putting my hair strands upwards like a bun and made sure to carefully apply so as to not break my hair but still broke a lot of hair haha.

I have fine curly hair, didn't use lemon juice, and this worked beautifully! I use curl product, too, and it didn't affect anything. Definitely going to become a part of the routine from now on :)
Hello, sorry to annoy you but I was wondering how often you do this, I get dandruff very easily and am scared if I do it once a week it will be too oily 😅
@@catlady5763 I'd say it works when I do it once a month! I get oily, dandruff-caked hair every other day, so it just works best for me if I space it out :,)

Yeah it worked amazingly. I had like really greasy hair and when i tried it, it was instantly softer and didnt get greasy, almost at all, and it does last long

This is a pretty good mask and made my hair softer. But it didn't make any visible changes to my hair. The smell of mayonnaise was hard to get rid of even though I put a few drops of essential oil in the mixture. Will try this again after a few weeks to see if it makes any difference.

Adeeba Frah In the video mentioned that we should use it again another few weeks or a month later. But through Naomi Wadekar, she meant, “After she use this hair mask it seems nth happen but the next 2 days after she wash her hair, she started to see some change”. It means the hair mask nutrients takes at least 1-2 days to seep in our hair to do magic.
