IMO, Psych is not given enough credit for the brilliants series that it was. One of the best and funniest detective shows ever but it always gets glossed over.

Shawn Spencer and Gus Burto totally deserved a place on the list. Shawn makes obscure 80 references and does the actually detective work, while he has Gus to help him out with drug information and companionship. These two also being best friends since Grade School, would of atleast made it onto the list.

I was definitely expecting them to make the list for sure, at least Honorable Mention!! If there was any hint of implication of a romantic spark between them it didn't last very long because of Stabler being married (even when his marriage was on the rocks).
Benson is a "great pair" on her own....Giggity!!!!!

Okay, just to be clear, I agree with this list except for one thing. WHY IS PSYCH JUST AN HONORABLE MENTION! As my second favorite TV show (but #1 favorite TV show that isn't animated), they should've been more than just an honorable mention. Everything, and I mean everything, in Psych is AWESOME. It's a perfect mix between comedy, crime TV shows, suspence, and even a little bit of drama. It ran for 8 seasons, and it wasn't even cancelled, the creator of the show just ended the series "while they were still on top". James Roday (Shawn Spencer) and Dule Hill (Burton "Gus" Guster) should be on the regular top 10 list, not just an honorable mention, but at least they gave it that.

And once again Mojo disses the superior detective shows on USA. Shawn and Gus only getting honorable mention while giving #7 to a show that's only been on one season is just plain ridiculous. And giving the Law & Order slot to anyone but Stabler and Benson is equally stupid. Adrien Monk/Natalie Teeger and Mary Shannon/Marshall Mann also at least deserve honorable mention.

They did say no pairs in romantic relationships. Despite the fact that they put Jane & Lisbon, Castle & Beckett and Holmes & Watson on the list.
Matthew Anderson Holmes and Watson ONLY have romantic relationship tendencies in the wet dreams of fan girls, there's nothing to suggest that on the show. They might joke about it but no one actually believes (no one who's not part of the Rule 34 mindset), that either of them will end up as a gay couple.

Glad you included 'Sherlock' so high. Being a fan of the more 'classic' Holmes tales I expected to hate the modern reboot especially after seeing the Downey film version and 'Elementary' versions.
Luckily 'Sherlock' is so well written & well acted I couldn't help but love it. I love a show that doesn't dumb down to achieve mass appeal.
It's not classic Sherlock in the Jeremy Brett style but it's a damn good show. Even if it does frazzle my brain! ;)

I couldn't agree more with the top two spots. Of course, great writing and acting can make any buddy show great, but the edge will always go, in my opinion, to the actors who start with an intense chemistry and build from that. My two favorite pairings of all time, one modern and one classic!
Glad to see Shawn & Gus get an honorable mention but you're missing Gil Grissom & Jim Brass (CSI) and The Strike Team, or Vic Mackey & Shane Vendrell (The Shield)

What about Ryan Hardy and Mike Weston from the Following? Also, John Kennex and Dorian from Almost Human? However, following your own rules, I don't see how Castle, could have gained an honourable mention given that most of the show revolves around the sexual intention and romantic concretion between the 2 main characters.
I must agree with you on all points. Also, as much as I like "The Mentalist", the underlying sexual tension between the two main characters was frequently revealed plus the declaration of their love for each other in the last episode shown also disqualifies them.
Espo and Ryan do make for an awesome duo, though, so I guess that could put Castle on the list.
