- Today, we have our final video for AKI in our road to master series for SF6. After learning so many safe jumps and new combo routes with her poison, it's time to finally cross the finish line and reach the highest rank in the game so far. Of course master rank is only the beginning...
A.K.I., the maniacal mistress of poison, will slither her way into Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub in Street Fighter 6 on September 27.
Feeding off orders from her master, she injects poison into enemies that dare stand within striking distance - all with a smile. You can’t fix her, but she will fix you.
Owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition will automatically get access to A.K.I. when she unlocks. Get a taste of her poison for an hour with a Rental Fighter ticket, which can be obtained in Fighting Passes.
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. A.K.I. looks super fun, but as a new player as of SF6 I'm definitely intimidated by her weirdness and how well the skills I build on her would translate to other characters.
I'm new and she feels easier to play when doing combo strings. After spending a very long time learning sf6 neutral I feel like I have short limbs with A.K.I. but she kinda feels like a ggs character or... idk a lowkey rekka character.
Her combos are very demanding of clean inputs, but that can actually help you. Her trials are good practice for inputs and will make you less likely to drop combos for other characters, especially ones that rely on stance changes (like Chun Li) or drive rushes (like Juri)
I’m new and I love her kit. She has zoning potential, combos, fun moves and cool supers

A.K.I feels easier to play and her combos are easier to do for me. This is also my first sf game that ive owned. Only time i play sf characters were in vs series and smash 😅
I mained Kazuya & Juri in cross tekken. I loved C. Viper in mvc3 and hope she comes back as dlc in sf6

Interesting how the whole community has found her. She felt very fluid to me on modern controls with assisted combos and alternating mixups. Her zone/trap potential seems unbelievable with bubble into puddle. Anyhow A.K.I is amazing and will absolutely be a new main for me!

Yeah I been getting coward crouch instead of ex electricity a lot with Blanka since the AKI update. Can't remember it happening once before then. Capcom obviously changed something besides SA in the controls.
You can use the light kick slide (the feint) to set up perfect timing for a safe jump after the corner dive combo.

What can aki do against cross up? Nothing works
Aki can use the cmd jump to pick up after shimmies with no confirm or dolphin dive with a confirm
only annoying thing about facing AKI is her hard to notice DI. the moment seem similar to her slithering move, and it's even worse if they have dark black red costume color
to me its fine the only one i think that needs tweaking is cammy, its invisible, looks like a knuckle, but i get how it woud be confusing for aki too

When do u stream? Do you have a specific schedule?
Curious if anyone knows how the combo @6:15 works? The overhead is normally +3 on hit and the crouch light punch has a startup of 4 frames. How does it combo in the video? I've seen other pros use the combo and don't understand if I'm missing something. There doesn't seem to be a drive rush used either.

honestly aki is fun but she really doesnt seem good
i think they did good by modeling her after fang but fang didnt have the problems that she does, like her pressure doesnt seem that amazing but fang had cloud traps and coward crouch n everything
also fang had crazy antiairs but aki has literally none lmao
i like akis design and she looks tricky but i think shell just end up as a knowledge check char more than an actual good char
then again maybe im missing something
huge damage for combos and pressure after fireball otherwise everything is not great

Showing the wins and losses is a lot more interesting than what others do of showing cherry picked videos to show how bad ass such and such player is. Also, good call on shortening the cutscenes, they are cringe after the 10th time being watched.
