Wolverine got a buff this week, and I think it's finally made him a good fit for typical Destroy decks like Death Wave! It's a relief to see such an important and iconic character with a chance to be a more relevant card.

Hero wars is probably one of the most pay to win games I ever seen, do not recommend playing it

Yeah, he's been turning into a 2/6 for me pretty regularly AND he's able to get into some of the unplayable areas as well.
That first Wolverine Gandalfed the hell out of that bridge.
Out of all the flying heroes, ones with telekinesis and mastery of air, magnetism, rocks, etc etc, the only 3 guys who don't fall off the rickety bridge are the 7ft tall guy made entirely out of metal, the short stocky one with the adamantium skeleton, and the guy in the wheelchair, lol.
Bucky I assume just climbs back up with his metal arm. But he just falls right back off anyway. :)
don't forget the girl with the psionic exoskeleton
Regis using variants!?!? FINALLY. Real feedback, I like seeing different variants because its almost like seeing more of the game, and what it has to offer.

It definitely helps but Wolverine isn’t what makes Knull big as you usually only get to destroy wolv about twice if you play him early. Big Knull that’s usually yondu hitting something big. Then venom eating deathlok / winter soldier or a early death. Wolverine moving a random location makes building a big venom less consistent than eating winter soildier but you do occasionally get the wolv high roll into the location you want. Wolverine being the flex spot I think I prefer sabertooth over him because you can choose where to play him and guarantee a destroy proc. On average you destroy both twice at the end they both become 12 power in value but wolv gives Knull 6 power where as saber gives 8.

@@denpaonice1442 I have Knull and tried to play him with wolverine, but I can still make my Knull bigger than other 6cost cards. I use Destroyer, so that Knull will become even bigger.
I have been using Wovie in a Deadpool/Venom kind of list and it's been pretty good. The Wolverine changes make Venom alot more viable in destroy lists, whereas before he primarily went for Deadpool because Bucky and Nova were too low on power, now Wolverine & Deadpool work pretty well together if Venom is around.
I love seeing the variants! I haven't even seen that Aero variant before
I'm around 1.7k collection level and find myself facing loads of decks with pool 4/5 cards and it feels rough. I mean I hang around level 40 just playing decks I like and doing dailies so it doesn't bother me too much but it does feel a bit rough playing against some high power cards with my nonsense.
I love your Snap conent, my favorite by far.
1st time I played with him since his buff, I got Rickety Bridge. And he kept landing there. Every turn. He was at 12 power at the end of that. Still can't believe that happened

Hey Regis, I have been watching your stuff for a while and this is finally a deck I have most of the cards for! Would you swap out anything for Venom? Maybe like aero? or she hulk? I have him over those two so I was just wondering your thoughts?
I personally would not for this deck. There's no way here for you to leverage his stats multiple times, like a Taskmaster or an Arnim Zola, which is typically how you'd best utilize Venom. He might be okay to swap out for Deathlok, but I worry sometimes he'll be hard to weave into play and often end up smaller than Deathlok.

Man, as a new player, Snap with a full collection looks so much more fun and interesting than Pure Ongoing vs 1-cost Swarm CONSTANTLY.
Seven Pool 3 cards missing...guaranteed Death will be the last one even though Destroy decks are my favorite to play!
He’s good in deadpool because you can destroy him and pool with carnage and then him and pool again with venom for song strong lanes
I thought he was pretty good before to be fair. But I loved my galatus deck! :)

Edit: i tried both suggestions, and i just realized Zola is a better choice with all the bs going on right now in the meta, i just basically save one lane with zero cost death followed by Arnim and it has worked so far in the two games i had trying this deck! (Rank 72 CL 1,431)

Rank 60 for galactus? I’m rank 35 cl 876 and I am seeing galactus, Zabu, and silver surfer. It is tough to gain anything.
Yandu's text needs to be updated or something, I've been wondering for a while if he destroys the top card, he should never destroy chavas unless he's played turn 5, yet I've destroyed and had mine on turn 1 quite a bit
He's actually MORE likely to destroy Chavez, because the way she works is that she "waits" at the top of your deck if she would've been your draw otherwise. So there's actually a much higher chance she's chilling at the top waiting for turn 6 than other cards.

@@AnthonyVex To be fair, Cyclops has been around so long that there have been enough versions of him that *some* of them are decent. Like, I mostly know him for when they decided he should be less of a generic "good" guy, and decided to make him progressively awful or whatever in a bunch of ways, but I'm sure there are a couple of "sweet spots" where if you were mostly exposed to the character at the right moment he'd leave you with a strong impression.
Like, I feel like they'd've spent less time dragging him through the mud if there wasn't something there to dirty to begin with =P

@@AnthonyVex I mean, I generally agree with you, I find he ranges from kind of bland to "What if we made him awful though?" but I can at least imagine a universe where the right version at the right time could capture someone's imagination. There are some characters who either have such consistent portrayals, or such limited portrayals, I'd have *real* questions about someone making them their favorite, but Cyclops has been around enough that I can at least imagine there's been some good versions of the character even I'm not familiar with them =P

He seems like a highrolly kind of Mysterio. Mysterio clones are great for destroy targets in Deathwave and he himself adds a nice bit of power and a little bit of mind games. Wolverine kind of fills that role now. Only you might be able to get him to 6 or 8 depending on your deck.
Now imagine they buff Death where she cannot be destroyed as well

I'd much rather play a bot than play against a much higher Collection level. I wish they did tweak the matchmaking
8:11 the district X duplicated some of your cards and some of your opponent... they had 2 Sun Spots and 2 Black Widows and you drew a Death that you didn't start with.... seems strange, almost like a game bug...
why did thew wait a few more week for nerfing surfer and zabu..... thew can just do it now so we actually can play the game and have fun again...
I'd still rather use something else.
Hero Wars, huh? Haven't they reached every single soul by now with their fake sexy minigame ads? When I clicked on one of them some time ago, I felt betrayed, never got to that sexy click game but instead the probably most sophisticated browser game there is, it's insane how much you can do in this - and also how much you HAVE to do in order do satisfy people in guilds that somehow prefer doing thousands of clicks daily and spend money on a regular basis to advance in some frickn browser game... At one point I managed to quit and got back to playing an MMO to safe time and money ^^
