My dream is a T480s version 2, slightly slimmer but 100% same keyboard, 90 whr battery, 32 base memory upgradable to 64, ryzen ai (64gb) or ultra 2, and same boring black but sturdy case, my definition of sexy laptop not those bulmic of current releases They own the product line but have no idea how much people are still using (and loving) T480s Who else is dreaming this?
Mate, that is a hard work, to present a fake Thinkpad. Not even Thunderbolt 5 in this model where competition is acting. I'd go back to the development team and request them to not put me on the spot again in a such tough situation.

Dear Lenovo, You have way too many product lines! All you need is 4: budget, premium, professional and gaming! You are confusing your loyal customers with your ThinkPads, Thinkbooks, Yogas, Legions, Ideapads... And they all have their own numerous subdivisions each!😂
Agreed. I literally only pay attention to their Yoga line and ignore the rest. All I know about Legion is that it's for gaming and ThinkPad for business (whatever that means). I could not tell you what IdeaPad is for. 🤦♂
Except for the copilot key, its a great looking laptop. The haptic trackpad is also a welcomed addition. However, a major show stopper is the processor. Personaly, I will not buy an Intel laptop when AMD produces better APUs. Also upgradability is limited as Intel imposes soldered RAM. No thank you
A ThinkPad without a TrackPoint? What's going on? No thank you - you guys own a tremendous brand and you have no idea what to do with it ... its VERY simple, people want a repairable PC, with many ports, trackpoint, removable battery and a great warranty - THAT'S ALL. NO ONE cares about A.I. assistant, or co-pilot button, or laptop to phone sharing or whatever it is - these aren't things ANY ThinkPad buyer cares for ... What a shame ... I'm not sure how many more years I can squeeze out of my good ol' T-480S/T25 ... its already 10 years old ... I was hoping you guys will produce something great this CES, I guess not.
Stop it get some help How dare they make a thinkpad that’s grey (it not that bad but black is the signature color) and remove the trackpoint and trackpad buttons
We hear your concerns about the presentation your candid input helps us improve and create content that resonates better with our audience. If you have specific suggestions or feedback, feel free to share. Addie_Lenovo

@@Lenovo then no 16 inch Oled Mat screan....????
I'm not buying a Thinkpad without Trackpoint.
Where is thinkpad?
Lenovo's head of marketing dep. in a board of directors meeting: "So, what do you guys mean we cannot have macs issued to the marketing staff?"
no trackpoint not a thinkpad
*just another lenovo laptop, not a thinkpad one. The trackpoint button can be made thinner to increase room for trackpad
0:29 The background laughing says a lot 😂😂😂 even Lenovo would describe the Win11 as a laughing stock.
I was also laughing alongside them. 🤣🤣
thinkpad is dead, they removed the trackpoint. there is no longer any distinction between thinkpad and any other competing brand.
The other ThinkPad had Trackpoint
did this got shadowbanned coz why does it only have 367 views in 5 hours T_T
Yeah they fell off

No one needs this copilot key 🤮. And as a developer I need dedicated page up and down keys… the rest is nice
No exetended upgradeable, no trackpoint, remove the Thinkpad logo and we have Ideapad

I was laughing alongside the people in the background because this presentation is trash. It has too many buzzwords and reads like ChatGPT. 🤣🤣
