Red 6 did a real professional job landing that jet safely.
I thought it was amazing how he managed to keep flying straight after the strike :)Like driving a car down the motor way with all the windows open, but at 400mph 😂
@@smartazz , totally agree and he also had helmet damage , lost his visor and could not use his radio properly.. Incredible pilot.
Whist flying head on, couldn’t be at a more riskier part of the display
That was quite a shock when we were there. Where did they land? (I only know of RAF Valley)
They landed at Hawarden Airport.
Awesome. I was there too. But at the top sitting on the steps.
It was a totally awesome day out :) I was also lucky enough to see them on the Saturday also.
@@smartazz yeah it was. I saw them Saturday too, it was my first time seeing them in real life instead of on TV.
I know that after the birdstrike, No. 6 made an emergency landing at Hawarden. Not sure about the rest of the team, though.
