We have looked so much forward to this lamp. Sadly, everyone, beware that it does not take 20 min to build it. We have tried over three hours (!) and we still did not manage to set in row 1 of the yellow parts without the transparent parts falling down. There is no "click" sound and the construction does not correspond to the price of this product. I hope I'll be able to return this faulty product..

Hi Jens. Sorry to hear about that. In order to construct the transparent base 'skeleton' of the lamp, you got to 'snap' the ribs into place with the top and bottom rings. Now, these might be tricky since you have to push hard but I can assure you that it will work if you push them into place correctly. It sounds like you didn't install the ribs to the rings correctly since they fall apart once you start adding the yellow leaves. There should be a solumn 'click' when the plastic ribs are correctly installed to the rings. If you still can't get it to work then you might have a faulty product and we'd be happy to exchange it for a fresh one. In such case please direct your inquiry to our Claims Department at 'claim@umage.com'.
