This is such a deeply dishonest video which doesn't begin to convey the complexity of assembling this lamp. First of all, who has a waist-level table to assemble a ceiling lamp? Most people will have to assemble this from a wire that is already suspended from a ceiling which is nearly impossible given the difficulty of seeing the clear slots from below. The alternative is to assemble it without the lamp fixture, then try to affix it to after assembly, which is also nearly impossible. The strips don't stay in their slots and are constantly slipping out which makes it excruciatingly difficult to tell which slot belongs where as you add more strips. The fact that it was not even advertised as unassembled is outrageous considering the amount of time this takes. The written instructions are even more laughable, a total of 13 words with four of them being the baffling command 'ONE RIGHT- ONE DOWN' My lamp still looks lopsided after the second assembly attempt and I have given up. I will never buy an Image lamp again as this is the second time I have ended up with a maddeningly user-unfriendly lamp (the first had a bulb that could not be changed-- which was supposed to last years but lasted only months. It took months more for them to send a replacement which also burned out quickly). If form over function is your thing, this is the company for you-- otherwise look elsewhere for stylish lamp design that actually works.

Nightmare. Fabulous if you have a few hours to spare and enjoy assembling things. Worse than an IKEA flat pack. Hopefully, eventually it will be worth the rise in my blood pressure.

Is it true that I have to throw away the whole lamp once the LED is depleted?

We have looked so much forward to this lamp. Sadly, everyone, beware that it does not take 20 min to build it. We have tried over three hours (!) and we still did not manage to set in row 1 of the yellow parts without the transparent parts falling down. There is no "click" sound and the construction does not correspond to the price of this product. I hope I'll be able to return this faulty product..

This movie is not much helpful, as it omits crucial part of zipping the lamp - should stronger plastic bend inside ? should it touch softer plastic from the inside and give structure to it as well? Those details are important for final look

Why aren't the three pieces marked with the corresponding letters so people can see which side is which? This is totally frustrating.

looks almost as good as the picture. It took my rocket scientist teenager who has lots of Ikea experience to put the pieces together. The video was more helpful than the manual.
