I am one of these new players and I really like the game, but on one of my first matches my friend was teaching me how to play engineer and he was support, so we were trying to drive the supply truck out of spawn, and clueless new players kept running up to it expecting it to be a transport truck and keep dying because they're running into a moving truck. We end up getting team killed by one of them and they steal our truck and crashed it in a ditch, then throughout the rest of the match if they saw us we would get team killed on sight. Hasn't happened since but it was definitely an interesting first experience in the game.
Anyone fresh going in, might be worth check some basic tutorial before going in raw just to get hang of what is going on in the fields. Otherwise open your mic and ask. Lot of people happy to guide you
Hi, 3rd day or so playing from epic, I was going to buy it but glad I was patient. I have played Arma, Ron, Tarkov. So I might be unqualified to say this but. These people are beyond being noobs, it is like they have 0 critical thinking skills, people just shooting at random in spawn hitting me (they must play too much cod). and then on top of that they don't even take the time to understand how the offensive mode works so they end up trying to defend a point that is literally undefendable!!! Edit: (I made this comment before watching the video and what I said about friendly fire was immediately proven true)
@@anotherdev-br8ov Spot on with your analysis. Hopefully those who care will stick around and grow the community. Just going to be a couple rough weeks I’ve also started playing Arma Reforger so I know these types of games have a learning curve to them.
i'm also one of the people who got it for free. for me its the best like world war shooter i've ever played. i played battlefield and other shooters aswell but i like HLL much more, i'm playing the anti tank unit mainly and its just so much fun and immersive!
Im one of the new players, is there some certain TH-camrs that have good videos about how to learn this game? Im pretty good at the shooting part in this game because I've always played shooters but the rest is still kinda confusing
@silfirezz I’m still relatively new as well. Look up guides on how the game works and what roles to play as. Typically infantry is the best role to start as.
playing with new players is hell , i understand this game has a long learning curve but in the last 10 matches nobody listened , even on typing messages nobody cared . I quit for now , hopefully things will change after couple of months.
Yeah, I'm new to HLL but i have played a bunch of Squad and remember the free weekends for that game... It doesn't help that HLL is often recommended as a battlefield alternative for some reason. These games aren't very fun without communication tho, so most of the new players will be gone within a week or so. A bunch of cool people tend to stick around tho, so in the long run im sure the game will get better.
Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for watching. If you enjoyed please feel free to leave a like and subscribe. I appreciate all of you!!!
