TH-cam doesn't do games like this justice. Even in 1080p spotting is easy.
I tried using parsec / steam streaming to play this the other day and even at high quality compression just destroys spotting.
Peregrine 7 i mean depends on your latency/location for parsec. played HLL with my friends high end pc who lives only a neighborhood away with parsec on my 4k monitor and it was clear as day.

Spoting in this kind of game is not that difficult, you just get used to it. After sometime, heading in the right direction, hearing gunshots and seeing something move that doesn't have a blue/green sign on its head is already a good sign of potential enemy activity.
A mate of mine was one of the Designers on this game :) The man is super proud of this game and so are all of us.

I played my first game today. Was the last man standing on an objective after Germans surrounded our hill and killed everyone. Went on a 19 killstreak before a squad finally pushed my position from different flanks and took me out. Was quite proud of that lol

@Friedrich BFV didn't include iconic battles such as D-Day, the ENTIRE Eastern Front, Market Garden, etc.
Only iconic battle I know included is Iwo Jima and the Solomon Islands.

You did awesome job and all, but fixing performance issues would be nice touch - new content means nothing if most of the community can't even play it.

Every time I bring mine to the range I get a crowd of people behind me wanting to try it.
Considering that the germans get a bolt action with a 5 round clip while the americans get a semi auto with 8 rounds, and both guns kill in 1 shot. Playing as US is a MASSIVE advantage in this game. German MGs really have to carry hard.
On the other hand, everyone in the vicinity gets notified when you're out of ammo and scrambling to reload. So... minor disadvantage.

Get squad or post scriptum. This game isn’t as good as it’s made out to be. Keep in mind these content creators are using like $3k PCs so that’s why it looks good.

for me its the sounds! with a headset on guys i shit you not as bullets wiz over your head i found myself doing small head nods cause of how realistic it sounds as your teamates shoot over you and oncoming bullets wiz past you, the audio is insane!! the tanks that go by you sound just like real life at a tank show, they get louder and louder and when going right past you the battlefield nearly gets quiet from their engine. its crazy. its legit band of brothers the video game.

Dncmaster it’s realistic in that it’s a milsim, but no game is actually realistic because real life isn’t really ‘designed’ with game mechanics in mind. the closest to realism in terms of like body damage is i guess tarkov

P.S., it's great you're playing the game, but please play with your squad. You're good, I get it, but this isn't supposed to be played like BFV.
Bought this game a little while ago. It took me quite some time to get used to the low pace compared to other shooters. But after 30+ hours of playing I really have gotten into this game. Now after 40+ hours I can honestly say that for me this a much more entertaining game than MW or BFV. The teamplay can be really great, lots of people are actively using there microphone and playing the objectives.
One trick, and it also looks like jackfrags isn't aware of: hit apply settings under video in the menu each time you startup the game. You will see that only then it enables your settings and the game looks a lot less blurry. If you do it while already being in a server you can really see the difference.

Gove it a go. Its really cheap especialy now with 25% sale. The beginning feels intimidating so try and join a squad ingame that has a high rank players just check next to their name what rank. Then say your new and need some help. Set your nameplate to 500m.

I would have loved it but it would have been absolutely hated on by most people. This is very different to BF games. They'd complain about TTK, they'd complain about OP tanks, they'd complain about it being too slow... BF is more arcady/casual while this is more mili/sim.
It definitely looks just like Carentan. I was there last year in December. Very cool city to explore. They have a historic trail/walk that takes you to key parts of the city that were important during WWII. The Cathedral is so beautiful inside as well.

nameplates on team mates has always been a thing. its a setting in the options. servers usually make you have them up to 250m away so you reduce team killing
You can set it to whatever you like,even nothing. Beginners should set it to the max 500m. Then tone it down to 250m after you played about 30hours.
You got markers over ppls heads if you are close enough and aiming on them. Otherwise need to look at uniform colors
Dude, these type of games you really have to play with your squad. I know it can be hard with randoms but blah etc.

Played for the first time this free weekend and loved it so bought right away. Perfect mix of tactical and fun. Movement felt good and most people were nice enough to explain how things worked. Find a good squad leader and it makes all the difference.

I would love this game but the performance is just so terrible, even on all low settings. Especially on the new map, i can't get more than 70 fps, often it drops down to 40-50fps. I know that it's still in early access so im not going to judge it too harshly yet.
After having terrible performance with this game, I really hope 'Enlisted' doesn't make any mistake. It's similiar but seems more fun.
Thought i was the only one, there was certain part of the map gives me massive frame drops but after running a few distance it went back to normal.

@Tyler Regalado Highly debatable. For many it enhances the immersion and fun. You can always stick to arcade shooters and other forms of enterntainment created for people with shorter attentions spans.
