Yep! Very relatable. Usually if your character is connected with another character for a long time lore wise, high chances are that other character is gonna die later on.
As someone who loves playing FPS games, this not only relatable, but this is also very realistic. This might be my favorite video they've done. Hope they make more in the future. These guys do an awesome job making these videos.

@Paul Smith it wasn’t that simple. They were definitely running on fumes compared to Allies, but plenty of senior surviving pilots still operated BF-109’s and the new experimental jet fighters. A lot of this is recorded in “A Higher Call”

The sub pens were kinda like that, early in the war subs were that terrifying and effective but by late 1942 their threat had been reduced greatly, so depending on when the mission took place it could be that vital.
I cannot get over how much effort must have gone into preparing this series. Those costumes and weapons are insane! The humour is also absolutely excellent - so many relatable moments. So glad I found this channel.
@Alex Luca Witcher games did it well by adjusting speed to whoever you follow and when you press 'run', companion starts running as well (and goes back to walking whenever you release 'run').

Utterly brilliant - someone definitely knows their FPSs! I do hate a 'mission on rails' where you have endless ammo, someone else is driving, you destroy dozens of planes/tanks/exploding barrels. There's rarely a feeling of jeopardy & you just think "Meh". Impressive effects but soulless.
I think the only “mission on rails” I enjoyed was in The Killzone series. The beauty of the game on a large screen with stellar surround sound really made it feel fun.

Our Fighters work fine. They have smaller problems that will prevent take off in times of peace. Like "too bright cockpitlights", but while in war this dosen't matter and they will take off anyways.

Since every game will only require 3 hours of player input and the rest of the game will be idle and controlled primarily by the latest excuse for AI. You'll probably only use it as a DVD player for the last half of your 6 year EASY payment plan, but they'll be just as pretty as all the games you'll never afford!" Personally, I still think Operation Flash Point was the best war game. If nothing else it put all the CoDs of that time to shame, in graphics and gameplay.

Course that was the only good use for the PS3, except without any practical playing of internet content. Which is exactly why the PS3 is back in its box, in a closet (with a Wii and the WiiU) and the PS4 and PS2 stay hooked up to the TV. Yes, PS2. The original "fat" PS2 with a network adapter that allows installing an 80gig hard drive (yes, back in the day 80gig was HUGE). Great PS2 games (4gig at most per DVD, meaning at least 15 games with room to spare) and practically instant load times is still epic. Games like Madden 2007 or any WWE games that normally had about 5 minute load times became very epic.

And then there is gonna be 50 bucks for the season pass, 20 bucks per DLC. And if you want the Deluxe version, add another 100. Day 1 patch: 250 gigabytes.
Obviously the jokes are all absolutely spot-on (especially love the friendly npcs going completely unseen) but gotta say I'm really impressed with the quality and production of these. There's clearly a lot of effort and people involved and it really shows up the attention to detail - great work guys!
But also important to note that not every FPS is brainless COD/BF style annual cash grab though. Many are very intelligent and giving you a lot for your money. Metro, Deus Ex, Dishonored, Bioshock... to name a few.
Don't forget the way civilians think about combat also correct. Did you notice Benjamin used the wrong eye to acquire a sight-picture? Almost forgot the obvious, his name was Private Benjamin, duh!

If I ever had the money, I'd make a parody FPS that says from the first briefing, right out of the gate, something along the lines of, "We've decided to do something crazy, and pin our entire hope of not only turning the tide of this war, but winning it, on one soldier, picked at random. And you're that lucky dog. Now, go out there and win this war for us!"
Its not only that they're slow. Its that they move at a speed somewhere between running and walking so u have to alternate between the two like a moron to match their pace XD

This had props (WW2 AND WW1 guns), uniforms, a set, CGI, after effects... Baelin’s route has the South Island and a drone cam. Looks great, but was probably simpler to make.

The "On Me!" from the commander struck the real nostalgia bone for myself. Spot on basically yelling for you to walk over to activate the next cutscene while you explore the enemy after finishing the preceding mission.
On consoles it’s not a problem. On PC’s you’re basically using an on/off switch to walk where on console controllers use a potentiometer in which you can control the speed of your walk. While it is annoying that they walk so slow at least you’re not bumping into them.
yeah definitely CoD 1, that first video is a near reenactment of the first mission. Only the AI manages to kill the other AI and there alot better at hitting you

Utterly brilliant - someone definitely knows their FPSs! I do hate a 'mission on rails' where you have endless ammo, someone else is driving, you destroy dozens of planes/tanks/exploding barrels.
There's rarely a feeling of jeopardy & you just think "Meh". Impressive effects but soulless.
I think the only “mission on rails” I enjoyed was in The Killzone series. The beauty of the game on a large screen with stellar surround sound really made it feel fun.

Yes, PS2. The original "fat" PS2 with a network adapter that allows installing an 80gig hard drive (yes, back in the day 80gig was HUGE). Great PS2 games (4gig at most per DVD, meaning at least 15 games with room to spare) and practically instant load times is still epic. Games like Madden 2007 or any WWE games that normally had about 5 minute load times became very epic.
As good as the 5 mains already are, as well as the topics they spoof, their dedication to costume work and set design is also awesome.

Most people haven't even heard of the very first game, just called Call of Duty, pc exclusive. I didn't know about it for years and discovered by accident about six or seven years ago and actually found it really good (in my very humble and made fun of opinion lol).
The only time friendly npcs did any actual shooting of the enemy was call of duty 2 big red one and world at war

This had props (WW2 AND WW1 guns), uniforms, a set, CGI, after effects... Baelin’s route has the South Island and a drone cam. Looks great, but was probably simpler to make.

The "On Me!" from the commander struck the real nostalgia bone for myself. Spot on basically yelling for you to walk over to activate the next cutscene while you explore the enemy after finishing the preceding mission.

On consoles it’s not a problem. On PC’s you’re basically using an on/off switch to walk where on console controllers use a potentiometer in which you can control the speed of your walk. While it is annoying that they walk so slow at least you’re not bumping into them.
